Was in Balwyn around 3pm Sunday, when most of the cafes have closed, I found a little cosy cafe which I still can fix my coffee need.
Ordered a latte to start, while having a little trouble to choose from the menu, a sweet waitress came and offered assistance in choosing something light for me. She was so pleasant, helpful and attentive, her recommendation is just what I need. It was so yummy .....
Ordered their Massala Chai too, came with 2 pcs of little biscuits.
All the staffs there are so friendly and made you so relax and comfy .
Definitely will come back for more other food.

We were looking for Indian brunch options and drove from Oakleigh after reading reviews. It was totally worth it. We had Sabudana khichdi, aloo and paneer paratha, matar kachori and their famous Bombay sandwich. Every item was delectable. We also had masala tea and it was served along with two Parle g biscuits. The ambience of the cafe was tastefully done and was very comforting too.

This was the best chickpea rice I’ve ever had — so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The taste was absolutely delightful! The chai was incredibly refreshing, and the aloo paratha just melted in my mouth. A truly satisfying meal.
However I did not like the Bombay sandwich. But that can be overlooked 🤣😋

Awesome little hidden gem found by chance while looking for some casual place and found this nice cozy looking Indian cafe. Loved each and every dish to the last bite and lived overall ambience but cherry on top is the service. Chetanya kept checking if food was to our liking and explained the menu in detail along with his best sellers.
Will return. Thank you team Chai Garden for making our drive worth while and deliciously pleasant.
