Sad to hear Woolworths on smith street are closing 🥲will miss Helen’s smiles And good service for over 20 years I’ve shopped there ! No parking at the other supermarkets. Very sad 😞

It's an interesting place to do your shopping. Sometimes you feel like you are taking your life into your own hands, other times, like security have typecast you amd others, perfectly normal experience. Feels like there's not enough dull moments. On a positive, they often have good markdowns on fresh food.

I'm not from this area, but I was really impressed with the selection of gourmet cheeses and nuts and dips - especially so late at night. Omg the cashews roasted in caramel are amazing! Plus I got a few types of cheese and didn't have to buy a huge amount! I appreciate that - a bottle of wine and some nibbles for two is catered for perfectly. I was able to run in and grab a few things easily and quickly and with help from the lovely staff. Cheese, cherry tomatoes, smoked salmon, artichokes, olives etc - for a supermarket their gourmet deli selection late'ish at night was wonderful. Selection and prices were great. Not all woolworths are created equally .....
