I visited Subway Lilydale on Wednesday, the 22nd of October 2025, around 12:36 pm. Unfortunately, the lady who was working at that time was extremely rude. She refused to take my order, saying she was busy and couldn’t serve me. I only asked for food that I was going to pay for—not for free—but she still responded very rudely. Very disappointed with the customer service. Definitely not recommended.

Was served by a lovely girl called Bianca, even though she was all by herself and there was a huge line she was calm, composed and incredibly lovely! She was smiling and completely engaged and is a very good worker!

Food was good, but the service was appalling and the venue was dark and uninviting. The girl behind the counter wore a scowl on her face from the moment we arrived. She mumbled when she spoke to us and was generally unpleasant to interact with. I haven’t felt more unwelcome in a food venue ever. While I may get subway again at some time in the future, I will never return to the lilydale store.

I frequent this location and the staff are always lovely and the service is great whether it’s lunch or dinner. I had yet to write a review, but I feel compelled to give special mention to the staff on 13/06. On 13/06 I was there around lunch time and it was rather busy. There was a particularly irate customer giving the staff a very hard time. Naturally, I was rather uncomfortable standing there having to listen to this individual scream and curse at the poor staff members just doing their jobs. I wanted to commend the way the staff handled this situation. Although the customer was causing quite the scene, the staff remained calm, polite, and pleasant and there was no delay to the rest of the line.

Put some staff on! Waited 20 minutes in line and still had 2 people in front of me before I gave up and left. 1 poor guy working and also trying to make multiple online orders
