A Love Letter to Kesari 🇮🇳 If joy had a flavour, I’m fairly certain it would be served hot, delicate and fragrant at Kesari, with Point Cook being just one of several much-loved locations. We started with a paper-thin dosa - golden, shatter-light, and folded just so. This Southern Indian classic arrived with a quartet of condiments: vibrant chutneys, deeply comforting sambar, and all the dipping potential your heart could ever desire. The kind of dish that makes you slow down, tear gently, and savour every bite. The table then filled (as it should) with favourites and standouts: • Chicken tikka entrée tender, smoky, gently spiced and utterly moreish • Aloo tikka chaat, crunchy, tangy, layered with flavour and that irresistible street-food energy • Lamb Kadai, rich, robust and deeply satisfying, cooked so beautifully it demanded silence for the first few bites • Butter roti, soft and indulgent, perfect for scooping up every last bit (and yes, we did). To drink? A strawberry daiquiri from the cocktail menu, bright, playful and dangerously easy to love. This followed by our now non-negotiable pairing for Indian food: a glass of @sistersrunwines Spicy food + Australian red = culinary harmony. Always. A huge thank you to Anureet, who was an absolute delight - warm, welcoming, intuitive, and the kind of hostess who makes you feel less like a customer and more like a guest at a very good dinner party. The decor deserves its own shout-out too: fun, funky, colourful, and full of personality. It sets the tone before the first dish even lands. Good to know: • ✔️ Kid-friendly • ✔️ Disability-friendly • ✔️ Dietaries thoughtfully catered for • ✔️ Easy, stress-free parking • ✔️ Takeaway / home delivery Kesari isn’t just a meal, it’s a celebration of flavour, generosity, and good hospitality. Come hungry. Leave happy. Plan your return visit before you’ve even paid the bill. #melbournefoodie #melbourneeats #melbournerestaurants #foodlover #melbournecafe #melbournecitylife #melbournefood #tripadvisor #tripadvisorreview #tripadvisorreviewer #googlelocalguide #googlelocalguides #letsguide #thewanderingreviewer @thewanderingreviewer #sistersrunshiraz #sistersrunwine

Test is best. We visited here recently, all the items served here were amazing yummy. The food quality was amazing. We order dosa platter, veg manchurian and panner saag . They put fresh mint in panner saag which make it really testy.. the service was amazing. They have serving robo who come and deliver food at your table. Which is real fun for kids. The music is fabulous. We love this place. The best part is the staff make you feel comfortable. The interior is nice and pleasant. And they have kids chair. The place is on ground floor.

Absolutely amazing food. Each and every dish is super delicious. Have been here a few times in the last few weeks and food was consistently great. Must try lamb roganjosh, malai kofta, biryani.

I ordered pav bhaji and had a very poor experience. The bhaji tasted overwhelmingly of raw garlic and was clearly not freshly made — it was still cold in parts, as if it had been microwaved. The pav was also undercooked and not properly toasted. Overall, the dish lacked freshness and quality. Very disappointing.

Among the best indian restaurants in Point Cook. It not just the food which is unarguably delicious, the service is amazing. Our family loves dining here because they always welcome us and serve us so professionally. When a server tells you that you have ordered too much for the group (even at the expense of their own restaurant) it shows that they are really thinking about the client and their experience. The recent tandoori platter is a brilliant concept as it comes with naan and extremely flavourful and tender meat kebabs. And worth mention, their robot server is very smart too and navigates it way through people like a pro!
