Delicious gourmet toasties bursting with flavour! We ordered the beef birria and bolognese toasties which arrived very quickly. The toasties were very crunchy, a little bit too much, and I loved the basil oil on the bolognese toastie so much I wish they had put more on! Although they are a little expensive, they are very rich and filling, perhaps a bit too much for one person. The staff were lovely and we will definitely be back here to try out their different flavours!

Toasted Truck & Deli is hands down one of the top-tier toasties in Melbourne — easily up there with the best I’ve had. Tried them back when they were running the food truck in Docklands and went for the Birria and Bolognese toasties — both absolute standouts. Each bite hit perfectly — crispy, buttery, and packed with flavour. Yeah, the toasties were a little oily, but that’s the price you pay for that golden, crunchy exterior, and honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. The bread was the perfect thickness and texture — sturdy enough to hold the filling but still soft on the inside. The cheese wasn’t trying to steal the show but tied everything together beautifully — especially with the rich pulled birria meat and the Bolognese filling. The Bolognese toasty surprised me the most; I didn’t think a pasta sauce could work this well in a sandwich, but they nailed it — even topping it with a sprinkle of parmesan. As for the Birria, it’s incredible even without dipping — but that birria consommé takes it up another notch. I also tried the Pig toasty, which was basically their version of a ham sandwich — good, simple, and satisfying, though nothing too special compared to the others. Still, it was a solid toasty in its own right. Service was great too — really friendly team who clearly care about what they’re making. You can tell there’s pride and passion behind every toasty they serve. Overall, Toasted Truck & Deli sits right at the top end of Melbourne’s toasty game — creative, indulgent, and cooked to perfection 🔥

Come here for glorious-tasting toasties! “This is the best toastie I’ve ever had” was what my hubby blurted after his first bite into the Nonna’s Bolognese toastie. My friend Gavs tried the Beef Birra toastie and said that it was “worth the hype”. I got one of their chunky biscoff & choc chip cookies and it was sooo good. It had the perfect soft, chewy texture and simply melted in my mouth. Average matcha. Just be aware that there’s not a lot of seating. I would definitely eat here again :-)

MUST TRY BOLOGNESE TOASTIE. I can't wait to have it again. I had tried their birria toastie last year and wasn't a huge fan, but then visited for lunch (last week) cause I just craved a toastie and decided to try their Bolognese toastie, very good decision on my part to be honest. I'll be visiting soon and would like to try their new York style cookies next time. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

Great food/coffee. The tosties were great. The cookies are not amazing but worth having if you like cookies. The biscoff and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are a bit dense and need a drink to wash it down.
