Had an amazing time at Howler yesterday seeing A-Skill and The Freestylers with a friend visiting from overseas. Absolutely perfect Sunday session.
The arvo vibe was unreal — having daylight streaming in through the clear roof made it feel like a big private courtyard party rather than a typical club gig. Great sound, plenty of room to dance, and the crowd was spot on — everyone there purely to have a good time.
Staff were super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. One of those gigs where everything just clicks. Can’t recommend Howler enough for day parties and quality electronic shows.

First time at Howler last night. I certainly didn't know what to expect walking in but it's a very different and unique venue. Lots of indoor plants, artwork on the walls, sofas, tables and bar stools. I ordered a chicken schnitzel for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. Plus a Hawkers Hazy Ale.

Great atmosphere and a really good vibe overall. The place feels welcoming as soon as you walk in. Drinks are solid, well-priced, and the food hits the spot. Staff are friendly, polite, and easy to deal with, which always makes a difference.
Crowd was relaxed and respectful, and the space itself is comfortable without feeling pretentious. A great spot to hang out, catch some music, or just enjoy a good night out in Melbourne. Would happily come back.

Beautiful venue for a gig! We loved being able to get a super delicious meal before the show too, steak night was a real winner with the eye fillet cooked to perfection. Band room has excellent sound and lighting and I loved that it didn't get insanely hot like most smaller venues!

I visited the place on Sunday, and to my surprise, it wasn't very busy at all, which made for a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance was relaxed , perfect for enjoying a meal without feeling rushed. I decided to try the steak, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. It was cooked to perfection, with a juicy tenderness and rich flavor that made every bite a delight. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly delicious dish!
