Seriously! What sort of fantastical idea is this! Had the chance to try a OG dimmie roll and a potato cake roll at 4 Pines Welcome to Brunswick Brew House today. As I said, we have reached Peak Melbourne! The lightly toasted roll with the uber soft steamed dimmies (generously squished on I might add) with the soy flavoured mayo is, no joke, a match made in heaven!! Great service too. The only thing that could make this better was the fabulous local IPA we had to wash it down with. I will dream about this!!

Dim sim — one of my favourite Melbourne-born snacks . This time I had an Italian-inspired dim sim filled with rich beef ragu and parmesan. Crispy on the outside, hearty and flavourful inside — and totally delicious. What I love about Dimmie Den is the creativity: they offer some flavours inspired by different cuisines, like Greek, Mexican, and more — each with its own unique twist on the classic dim sim. I hope they come up with a Japanese-inspired one someday. I’m Japanese, so of course I started dreaming up flavor ideas right away — hehe. Dimmie Den isn’t just a snack stop — it’s a creative, Melbourne-born concept blending local street food with global flavours. Can’t wait to try more! And what makes it even better? The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. 📍Location tip: You’ll find Dimmie Den at Southern Cross Station, right near the ticket gates. If you’re coming from Spencer Street and Bourke Street, just go up the stairs and it’s on your left — super easy to spot.

Dimmie Den popping up at chadstone has been phenomenal, I don’t think I would’ve had a chance to try them at southern cross station. Firstly.. The staff are amazing! Really chatty and obviously take pride in their product. I got the spanadimita (the veg option) and it was bloody delicious! Very innovative!! I’ve been back a couple times since and they are consistently fantastic! Highly recommend a visit.. they are only at chadstone for the month.

Easily the best dim sims I’ve ever had. It was hard to pick a favourite between the Italian, Greek, and Mexican, but I think the Italian slow cooked beef ragu takes it for me.. unreal flavour and perfectly crispy. Will definitely be back for more!

Really loved the Melbun! Such a great concept infusing sim sim and potato cake into a roll with an incredible signature sauce!! Awesome customer service that tells the story of its origins with true passion. Highly recommend checking them out 🔥
