First of all reviewing a poncho food truck on Glen huntly road.
What a scam. Ordered a supposedly chicken poncho bowl but was 90% Rice, black beans and tomato. A spoonful of shredded chicken. This for $16. Absolute penny pinching. I can go order a banh mi in Bun Bun bakery for $10 and will be a generous amount of filling of crispy pork and always consistent.
Poncho the penny punchers. Who ever in their management took this decision to scam the public clearly is a rookie in the F&B business. If you want to sell a bowl of rice topped with blank beans and tomato then advertise it as it is

Poncho, was a dream to deal with!! and their food was absolutely delicious 😋 Keller called them up on a Monday and they were available to come without fuss on the following Saturday night from about 10.30pm to 1am to supply dinner for our 50+ number hungry construction crew who were working night shift for a large Level Crossing Removal Project in Melbourne. They were so easy to work with, so friendly and kind even if it was midnight!!, The boys got an awesome Mexican feed with generous servings for all which fuelled them through to the next shift. Special Thanks to Carissa and her team on the night for their excellent service. We look forward until the next time we can have them involved in our projects!!

Delicious and fresh Mexican food. I love the Poncho Food Bowl, but it's all delicious. The guacamole is freshly made each time - not dished from a package. They have vegan options (vegan cheese and vegan sour cream). Bonus points for being a social enterprise that trains, employs and supports youth at risk - including neurodiverse youth. Friendly service. I can't recommend highly enough.

Carissa and Team run a great Mexican van on a Friday from 4TK. Staff were great and food was made in no time. Nachos were delicious and all food looked super fresh. Would definitely go back again or even hire the van for special events. Well done Poncho team!
