I was a little worried about enjoying the outdoors in the heat. As soon as I stepped outside the car, the gentle breeze pat my back and asked me to calm down and enjoy.
I honestly can't express how much I needed to be in that environment. It reminded me once again of the spirit of Christmas and togetherness.
There were kids running around, everyone enjoying a drink with their mates and the smell of yummy food. I want to thank my mate, who encouraged me to step into a world full of trust and warmth.
The entire theme was purely on vegan food, but I can tell you I enjoyed every bite of the dishes I tried along with my drinks.
I personally think it's important to have these events just to unwind, pause, and destress.
It's a monthly event, so I'm sure all of you who are eager will get a chance to try their food. There are plenty of on street parking available around.

I'd like to see more vegetarian or vegan options on the menu. I understand the food trucks change, so I'll have to come back and try again.
Such a big space and they really accept everyone, kids and dogs. There is a play area for children.
The cocktail menu is great.

Great selection of local beer, a few food carts with lots of meat, and they allow dogs outside which is great! Beef brisket with all the trimmings was delicious, and there was plenty of different varieties of beer to wash it down with. There's a small playground out the back area and plenty of seating. Very enjoyable to spend the afternoon when the weather is nice!

We came to Urban Ground in pursuit of some delicious tacos we read about in Broadsheet from Tacos LA, and they did not disappoint! They were super juicy and mouthwatering... I could have easily eaten another serving!
I wasn't sure what to expect venue-wise; however, it had a great atmosphere even in winter. The footy played on a big screen in the background, and many cute dogs were out and about.
We ate Greek donuts for dessert. The balls themselves were golden fried with a light, fluffy texture. The toppings were quite disappointing though.

Ample seating, shade areas and a popular destination for groups of young families. Oscarinos pizza truck was the main attraction for our visit, their woodfired pizzas are top class and made by friendly people
