I enjoyed a perfectly cooked 300g Grass-Fed Porterhouse (MB2+), served medium with a fresh roquette and grana padano salad, every bite was tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The balance between the rich, buttery steak and the crisp, peppery greens was spot on. The accompanying red wine jus added just the right depth without overpowering the natural taste of the beef.
Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, with staff who clearly take pride in their work and in creating a warm dining experience.
The setting at The Grand Hotel Warrandyte is truly special, a beautifully restored heritage landmark blending old-world charm with modern comfort. Nestled in the heart of Warrandyte, surrounded by gum trees and that laid-back country town atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon or evening meal.
Highly recommended, a local gem that continues to impress on all levels.

Great little spot for a Sunday session. Stopped by on the bikes for a souvlaki flavoured pizza and some karrage chicken. Good food, quick service, cold beer.

We dined with some friends & all of us were very happy with our meals. The ambiance was lovely, the service was a little slow as we expected, as we were there at peak time. The meals were worth waiting for. I had a yummy piece of salmon on a rocket salad containing juicy pieces of peach with a lovely dressing.
My only suggestion would be to have a wider variety of sparkling wine. I think a hotel of this size could have a greater wine list of sparkling.

Yesterday at the gym I mentioned The Grand Hotel to a trainer and a member and both claimed The Grand is quote unquote 'the best place on earth'. This absolutely made me beam! Such an immaculate vibe on Sundays with live music and local customers who return every week as well as Saturday nights when the bar is six deep full of vibrant young folk! Love it here :)) Staff are friendly and put up with a speedy environment and all sorts of crowd members and rarely lose their cool in stressful scenarios. The parma is to die for and so many tap beverages to choose from!!!! The Grand also supports different charity causes each month, just recently supporting the McGrath Foundation and Pinking Up Warrandyte. The heart of warrandyte truly.
