A huge thank you to the Green Gully Soccer Club for making my 50th birthday a perfect night. A special mention to the manager Tom and his team for making the night run smoothly. The Ajax Room was set up exactly how I asked for it to be set up, including the colour scheme and table decorations. Tom was easy to communicate with. He genuinely listened and followed up with any questions or concerns. On the night of the event, staff were professional and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious too. I would highly recommend this venue for any special events.

Staff are generally pleasant and helpful but the current head cook in the Bistro (14/1/2026) showed his ignorance in serving a marinara dish covered in cheese rather than providing the cheese as a side option. That in itself is bad given that has never been done before, but the arrogance of this person saying it wasn’t his problem is unacceptable!!

Ventured out of our normal, pn Thursday lunchtime 10th July 2025 as had to drop something off at Keilor East and decided on The Green Gully Soccer Club.
Had heard of it and meal looked good so in me went
Was impressed with the facilities, bar, TAB, pokies and the Bistro.
We went the Seniors menu (am guessing on) 2 courses $21 or 3 for $23.
Main meals cheap though.
Soup was nice. Got a roll too.
I went the Lamb roast. Lots of meat and the vegetables were clearly hand cut, not out of a packet.
Mate went the Chicken and Mushroom risotto. Heaps. He was happy. Couldn't finish it. I tried it. Very nice.
5 or more choices for Desert . We went Pavola and Cheesecake. Both excellent.
Staff very nice, especially the man behind the main bar. Very friendly and made a great coffee.

Food here is leagues above what you'd expect from a cheap soccer club. The calamari is great, the chicken and beef burgers are also, and the parmas are all worth the asking price. The kids' meals are good quality and good value. Pretty much all the adult meals are around $25 each, and the service is always great in our experience.
The best part is that, on top of that, it's got a kids playground in easy view of the tables. If you've got young kids, this place is a no-brainer. Highly recommend.
