Thank you for your reply. I understand mistakes can happen, but this was a very serious situation for my family. My husband and I both choked, and it was very frightening. This is not just a small issue for us.
We did not feel the situation was taken seriously enough at the time. Saying it was a “one-off mistake” does not change how dangerous it was for us. Customer safety should always be the priority.
I am not writing this to be harsh, but to explain how serious this experience was. I hope you will improve your quality control so this never happens to another customer.

I had a great experience at Baladi! The quality of the food is outstanding—everything tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor.
What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the whole meal feel special. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality you get.
Highly recommend if you're looking for a delicious meal that won't break the bank. I’ll definitely be back!

This is one of my family's favourite lebanese fresh bakery and grocery shopping places ❤️
My aunty loves shopping for all her beloved zaatar, grilled chicken and kofta skewers, fresh roasted nuts, fresh Lebanese sweets...everything there is authentic, appetising, appealing and clean...Add to this the very friendly service , staff always smiling and obliging...it feels like family ♥️

My name is Suad. I came to Australia for a visit and met some people here. They told me about a place called Baladi, owned by people from Lebanon. I went to the place to try their food. My husband, my daughter, and her husband went with me. Each of us ordered a different sandwich: one chicken, one kofta, one shawarma, and we also ordered a lot of manakish. Honestly, it was the most delicious thing I've ever tasted. I'm writing this just to say that I'm proud that there's such a restaurant in Australia owned by people from Lebanon. I hope everyone who has visited this place will visit it and enjoy the food.

Have been purchasing from this beautiful little shop for years and the food is amazing with lovely helpful ladies. The cheese pies etc are always nice and fresh, jam packed with tasty ingredients and reasonably priced. You also never run out and always have plenty of fresh stock. The best in the area! Keep up the great work!
