A small farm run by the local community growing food and providing meeting space for various local groups It’s a bit untidy in places and it seems to have been somewhat unplanned in its design Lots of features for various needs but there are lots of structures that look like a pile of stuff found at the tip

I’m a melburnian from the south side and CERES is my number one favourite place in the north. You could spend the whole day here. Photo of some absolutely exquisite poppies that my friend bought me for sale at the nursery, grown organically at Joe’s Market Garden just a few minutes away from Preston. CERES is an absolute treasure.

Had a great relaxing day walking around here. There is a cafe and facilities for you to spend a day away from the chaotic

Always amazing. The best nursery and full of inspiration. I’ve attended workshops to make cheese and preserves, fixed my own bicycles at their work shed and enjoyed a wedding and a music festival. The markets are lovely and the cafe is fantastic.

Google Parent Tip

Highly recommend to anyone of any age and any interest. The whole place is wonderful, full of ingenuity and practical ideas around sustainable hospitality, growing and energy use. Cafe has really delicious food with lots of produce from the gardens around. The shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. Playground was a huge highlight for the kids, it’s not like any kind of cookie cutter playground that is made out of plastic moulds. This playground is entirely made from recycled materials. Just incredible !

Family Friendly
