Had an amazing time at this BBQ King! There’s a great variety of food to choose from, and that was definitely my favourite part of the meal. I especially loved the oyster blade — it was tender, juicy, and full of flavour.
Today was my birthday, and they kindly surprised me with a delicious cake, which made the experience even more special. It’s also my first birthday in the Southern Hemisphere, so it meant a lot and made the day extra memorable.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating. Highly recommend for a fun get-together with friends or family!

After seeing the high review rating, we decided to come to try. It was fantastic! The food was fresh and lots to choose. Especially love their sashimi! Staffs were very friendly and constantly changed hot plates and cleaned tables for customers. They even gave us a birthday cake for the celebration! Very impressive! We will definitely come back next time!

A fantastic upstairs restaurant to dine and cook to your liking a range of barbeque delights. I highly recommend going at lunchtime for a less "busy" experience. The chocolate fountain was a surprise treat. I love combining the fresh lettuce, sauces, and variety of meats. Thank you to the staff for great service and amazing cake too. I'll come back to try more sushi and seafood next time!

Came to BBQ King for a birthday and loved it. The birthday person gets a free meal and they even give you a free birthday cake.
Lots of BBQ meat options, and the sushi was great. The salmon was super fresh. Big plus is they use real flame grills, not electric induction like many Korean BBQ places in Melbourne. The meat cooks faster and tastes way better with that smoky char.
Manager David was super friendly and the staff were all great. Highly recommend if you’re celebrating a birthday with friends or family, great value and a really fun experience!

Fantastic experience!
They have a birthday deal on where the birthday person gets the buffet for free and a tasty complimentary cake (from The Butter Room) that easily divides into 8 normal sized slices.
Positive notes:
- spacious walkways
- clean feel
- large tables
- plenty of good quality sashimi
- competitive pricing
- good variety of icypoles
- nice selection of cup noodles
- tasty and varied selection of cooked foods
- staggered seating times instead of sessions
- didn't rush us out at the end
- didn't rush us to start the 90 minute session before the entire group had arrived
- free drink if you rate them on Google maps
Things to improve:
- greater selection of marinated pork and chicken to grill
- more staffing to ensure regular changing of grill plates and better monitoring of those tables that take way too much raw meat then decide to return it right back into the main buffet area after it has already sat out for some time
- consider providing cold soup for the noodles (goes so well with KBBQ meats), or ice cubes
- portioned desserts rather than whole cakes
- consider officially changing the birthday deal so it can be claimed within 3-7 days of your birthday (not just on the actual day itself)
