What a delightful find in the hills! This Cafe is more than meets the eye. It's very spacious inside, and has amazing views over Silvan reservoir. Very friendly staff, great menu options with a wide range of meals. Ordered Salt and Pepper calamari, and the fish and chips (flatty tails). The fish, chips and salad were absolutely fantastic! Generous portions, the batter was light, and chips spot on. The calamari was, unfortunately IMO the frozen type you find in the box at the supermarket - however, it was well cooked, and wasn't dripping in oil. If the calamari was fresh, or local fresh/frozen it would have been 5 stars. Still - definitely worth enjoying a meal here. We will be back to try other items on the menu.

Visited Destiny Point Café while exploring the Dandenong Ranges, and it was absolutely lovely. The view from the café is breathtaking — overlooking the forested hills and valleys, it’s the kind of spot where you just want to sit, relax, and take it all in. The coffee was smooth and perfectly brewed, and the brunch dishes were fresh, hearty, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a calm, genuine atmosphere that fits perfectly with the scenery. Whether you sit inside by the large windows or outside on the deck, the peaceful mountain air makes the experience unforgettable. It’s the perfect stop for anyone visiting the Dandenong Ranges — a place to slow down, enjoy delicious food, and soak up one of the best views in Victoria.

I have always wanted to come to this place and I finally made it! The Eggs Destiny was ok, but the scones were excellent!! I have never had such moist and soft scones before and of course they paired perfectly with whipped cream and jam! The owner noticed that I was just by myself so he showed me a route to walk up the hill with the nice view 😊 The path to the toilets is so lovely with bonsai on both sides

This is a nice little spot to stop at if you're passing through and there is a lovely view out over the valley across the road. I only had a hot chocolate and a Portuguese tart, but the rest of the menu looked appealing as well. The staff were very helpful when I lost my motorcycle key so they've definitely earned a five-star rating in my book.
