We booked the Coombe Cottage tour and lunch and it was great!
The cottage was very beautiful and it was very interesting learning the history of it all and Nelly Melbourne.
After the tour, we sat down for a 3 course lunch from the menu and paired it with the suggested wines.
Most items could be made gluten free (waitress double checked with the chef for me) and the only gluten free dessert was the cheesecake. The third photo is the gluten free bread bun they brought out with the regular bread.
The serving sizes were filling and you could have shared the lamb between 3 (the two males like to eat and were so full after and couldn’t eat dessert).
The wines were all so great as well!
We want to come back again soon for the garden tour next!
10/10 highly recommend!

We visited Coombe for wine tasting and also ordered a cheese board. The wine tasting experience (our first) was amazing, the patrons took the time to tell us about the wines, the flavours and aromas. They recommended the Tribute wines which were beautifully blended and aromatic. The cheese board was also good (but small). We also got to try their gin which was by far the best gin I’ve had! Highly recommend visiting this place!

Elegant, Considered Dining in a Remarkable Estate Setting.
Coombe Winery excels at delivering food that feels grounded in its surroundings, refined without being remote.
The estate itself is striking, from sculpted hedges and heritage pathways to the commanding Melba statue that anchors the grounds. The food mirrors this sense of intention. Dishes are thoughtfully plated, flavours are balanced and precise, and the cooking shows confidence rather than complexity. Seafood is fresh and vibrant, meats are handled with care, and desserts are light, elegant, and restrained.
What stands out is the calm assurance of the experience. Nothing is overworked. The menu allows the setting and the wine to play equal roles, creating a cohesive and unforced sense of place.
A polished winery dining experience that feels complete, cohesive, and genuinely memorable. Well worth the visit for those who value thoughtful food in an exceptional setting.

Beautiful winery with lush green gardens and very helpful hosts. Hosted a drive day function at the Gallery and Emma our event manager was incredibly helpful. We dropped off the gifts and place cards and banner the day before and Emma had it all set up perfectly. Emma greeted us at the gates and led us to the Gallery. Everyone complimented on the food and presentation. I highly recommend Coombe for functions. There was an option for a garden tour but we didn’t have the time to incorporate that into our event. Definitely one of the best places to host a function

The food was amazing! Hard to decide what to have!
Started with homemade, still warm, bread to dip into a gorgeous fresh olive oil (forgot to take a photo).
A glass of Coombe sparkling, then Coombe Chardonnay with the Barrimundi. Terrific, friendly service.
Would have liked to go on a tour of the house and gardens, but a bit much on the expensive side. Maybe another time. The flat white coffee was on the weak side unfortunately. Great place for a special celebration, like our wedding anniversary!
