Great food and excellent coffee!
We ordered the croissant, Frankie’s Big Breakfast, smashed avo, and fries — everything was amazing with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The service was quick, and the overall vibe was lovely.
The only small thing to improve would be the garlic aioli dip and perhaps upgrading the outdoor seating on the other side for a more comfortable experience.
We’d definitely come back again if we get the chance!

Amazing café nestled in the heart of Carrum Downs! 🥰 it was our first time in the suburb, and was amazed at the multicultural diversity of the area - from the bubs and mums, individuals from different backgrounds, people enjoying their retirement, the tradies, and the MAGA supporter seated outside (yes, my first time seeing the red cap down under 👲). When we were seated by the lovely and welcoming staff on a relatively busy Monday morning, we were also amazed at the wide variety of food that was on offer! 😋 the coffee was good ☕️ the brekky burger was massive; bacon, melted cheese, and hash browns all packed between fluffy brioche buns and served with an equally huge serve of chips! 🍔🍟 the pancake was light, fluffy, not too sweet, and complemented by vanilla ice cream! 🍨🥞 now we know where to stop by on our Mornington peninsula trips! 🚗

Highly recommend cafe, Delicious meals catering for all needs and tastes. With finless classics to exotic favorites. Kids menu was perfectly created. We enjoyed a nice coffee and milkshakes for the kids. Very friendly staff and very welcoming. Will be sure to visit frankies in the future and I think everyone will enjoy it just as much as we all did.

Had such a great brunch here on the AFL GF public holiday - turned up without a reservation to the busiest place! The staff were so accommodating and welcoming and managed to find us a table. The service was quick and the food was yum. We ordered coffees (which were perfect) and French toast and panacotta Granola. Servings were huge and delicious. The staff were really nice and seemed energetic and happy to work there. I will definitely be going back :)
The only small issue was that the glasses did not seem clean, they were a bit smudgy.

Frankie's is always my first café stop every time I travel to visit family, and that alone says everything. The coffee is consistently great, the food is just as good, fresh and full of flavour, with plenty of great options to choose from and the atmosphere feels warm, welcoming and relaxed. It’s one of those places that instantly makes you feel settled after a trip. The staff are friendly and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about what they serve. Frankie’s has become part of my routine whenever I’m in Carrum Downs, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Highly recommend! ☕✨
