Booked this location for a catchup with some friends. When I walked in I was immediately impressed with the attention and effort invested into the decor, it really sets the scene.
The staff deserve special mentions because although they were run off their feed, they still maintained good service throughout.
The food was presented well and was of a good standard. The burrito bowl was definitely the stand out of the evening.

Has to be the best venue in Mordialloc's shopping precinct. Down stairs there is cosy booths Infront of the busy kitchen area. You can smell the amazing dishes being created. Staff are very welcoming and the cocktail jugs are made with love as we were told. Food was sensational one of the best Mexicans I have had ever. It was all prepared and freshly made. Tasted amazing.
After dinner head up the stairs to the roof top bar where it over looks the main street. Highly recommend visiting La Cabra this summer for some amazing Mexican food and drinks.

If you haven’t spun the Margarita wheel at La Cabra yet, you’re missing out — literally. With every Margarita jug, you get a spin to win, and we scored ourselves a free chicken taco. Not bad for a bit of luck and lime.
We kicked off with the chicken fajitas — sizzling hot, straight off the skillet, smelling like pure happiness. Then came the birria tacos, dripping with that rich, dunk-all-you-want sauce. Unreal.
And if that wasn’t enough temptation, Wednesdays are $1 chicken wing night. Yes, you read that right — a buck a wing. Dangerous.
The vibe? Relaxed and cosy, with Messi himself keeping an eye on us from the wall (pretty sure he approved our order). The service was on point — friendly, fast, and they kept the good times rolling.
If the weather’s nice, make sure you head up to their rooftop — perfect spot for tacos, jugs, and questionable decisions involving extra spins of that wheel.
🔥 Hot tip: order the fajitas, get the jug, and let fate decide your bonus snack.

Food was sensational and modestly priced. We had the corn, dips, tacos, and margaritas. Everything was delicious. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.
For anyone gluten free, there is plenty to choose from.
