This Okami used to be alright. The last two times have been absolutely awful. Edamame was overcooked. Rice was dry and old. Beef had no seasoning at all, like it was boiled in a dishwasher. Just bland water meat. Some chicken was undercooked. Squid salad was bitter and disgusting. I refused to eat it. The sushi was the worst part. The tuna tasted old and fishy, the rice was dry, the sushi overall was cheap and tasteless, and the rice portions on the sushi were wack. The aburi sushi was drenched in sauce and there was visible sugar pilled onto them… This place has gone completely downhill. The kitchen staff clearly changed and now it’s being run by people who have no idea how to cook. I’ve been to other Okami restaurants and they have been good, but this one… never again.

Honestly the worst Okami restaurant I've been to. The food is amazing. But the staff avoid eye contact, and actually serving customers, if you want food, you have to order via the QR code, because they avoid interaction, it wasnt busy when we walked in, maybe 2 or 3 tables of 2 to 4 people. they also don't bring out half the stuff that's ordered. We had to order things multiple times just to recieve 1 serving. It took 1hr and 15 mins to bring out seaweed salad. What we ordered vs wait time was ridiculous and for 'All you can eat' it was a waste of money. And by the time we left we still hadnt recieved 3 or 4 items. clearing dishes also seems to be a lost art, not just our own table but looking around there were huge piles on every table. I even deliberately brought attention to our pile as we needed a new plate and they literally ignored the pile and brought out a plate. Every other Okami has been on the ball, can't wait to serve their customers, this one, the staff just don't care enough.

Worst dining experience of my life. We were awkwardly seated barely a meter from the cash register, which already set an uncomfortable tone. Not long after, staff began loudly stacking chairs and packing up tables all around us, making it very clear we were not welcome. We arrived at 7:50 PM, with a clearly advertised closing time of 9:30 PM, yet the restaurant essentially shut down around us by 8:15. There was zero hospitality and a complete lack of basic respect for paying customers. If you don’t want guests dining past a certain hour, be honest about your closing time. The discomfort produced by this venue would have offended anyone of Japanese origin. The watered down off the shelf golden curry even more so.

Was very disappointed in everything tonight. Food was cold (dumplings, potato croquettes) Beef was bland. Chicken Karage was oily and only just warm. Some items were just forgotten about. Sushi was dry. New dishes dropped at the table but empty plates left behind. Whilst the staff were friendly enough, it didn’t quite have the atmosphere you expect for a Japanese restaurant or for this chain. Not sure I would go again or recommend to friends.
