One of my favourite gyms to go to!! So many different climbs!! You can be a newbie with no experience in climbing and still have a fantastic time and be challenged. And same for experienced climbers!!! Plenty of climbs to make you go crazy figuring out how to finish them!! There's a cafe too with nice food. The staff is awesome! Super helpful and supportive...just like the community there! Definitely a must try if you haven't been there yet! 😉 5 ⭐️

I really enjoy climbing here! The environment is friendly, the staff are super nice, free parking and they even provide free liquid chalk. The routes are interesting and change frequently, so there’s always something new to try. Overall, it’s a great place, only regret is not coming earlier. Building some muscle and having fun at the same time! 💪🧗‍♀️

I can't speak to the quality of the high difficulty climbs, but anything mid difficulty down is always great fun. Fortunately, Blochaus is also huge and has an excellent variety of style and difficuly of their routes and the setting team are always quite creative in the way they set. The day pass pricing is very standard for most gyms, but their membership is excellent value clicking in at the price of one day pass per week - highly worth it if you plan to go even just once a week. Only downside is the location, which is quite out of the way even by driving. It does makes sense, though, as it would be hard to find somewhere the same size in a more accessible spot.

BlocHaus Bouldering Port Melbourne is hands down one of the best climbing gyms I’ve been to! The facility is clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with climbers of all skill levels in mind. The route setting is top-notch — creative, challenging, and regularly updated, which keeps things fresh every visit. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to give tips or help out if you’re stuck on a problem. I also appreciate the strong sense of community here — it’s a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone supports each other. Whether you’re a beginner just starting out or an experienced climber looking to push your limits, BlocHaus is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Google Parent Tip

Absolutely brilliant climbing gym with lots of problems and caters for both kids and adults. Space for kids parties, has parking available and overall it’s a huge gym with lots of areas to test your bouldering skills. When I went they had a couples climb which was always good since bouldering is usually done alone. Staff are friendly and it’s overall a very pleasant environment.
