Fast service, no queue because they have lots of table, very crowded at night. Good place to hang out. Food is tasty and served in enough portion. Pasta & Pizza is absolutely recommended

Food was fantastic, been a dad, I end up trying more then my chilli prawn on rice dinner. Which was great. Steak was advised by the friendly staff and came out as advised, wine also was nice mushroom chicken pasta carbonara was perfect. Pasta cooked to how it's ment to. Only downside standard coke was severed as 'diet-Coke' :o

We visited Max on Hardware Lane and shared a few dishes, overall leaving with a mostly positive impression. We started with the Bufalina Pizza, adding olives. The dough was excellent, fresh, light, and clearly made inhouse, had a nice chew. The ingredients themselves tasted fresh and high quality, however, the overall consistency was slightly lacking. It could have benefited from a bit more buffalo mozzarella, tomato, and basil to better balance the base and toppings. The standout of the night was easily the Penne Pollo Funghi. This was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had, rich, flavourful, and very well executed, and the sauce was perfectly balanced without being heavy. We also had a couple of cocktails, which were adequate.

Had such a lovely experience from Rich and Tommy and of course all the team! The service was warm and welcoming, and the team made our celebration feel extra special. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the lamb shank, it was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Really appreciate the great service and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good food and a good vibe. Will definitely be back! ❤️

Google Parent Tip

We had a stroll along the Hardware Street and we stumbled upon this restaurant for dinner. The vibe of the place makes you feel that you are in Italy, it’s lively and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were given a table immediately for a group of 7 (with one child) which was great as it was the start of the dinner rush. We ordered the following: Meat Lovers Pizza - it was so-so, the flavour is there but we think it was a bit lacking. Beef and Truffle Fettuccine - a good pasta in a good serving, we shared this pasta easily with our group. Pumpkin Gnocchi - taste was okay and great serving as well Arancini Balls - I have enjoyed this, it was crispy on the outside and cheesy inside, really nice flavour too! Calamari - can never go wrong with this, its served with salad and chips on the side, a good entree for the group! Also a Chicken Scnitty from the kids menu. Overall, the food was just okay but we still enjoyed it. It was good for sharing and everyone still gets full. Atmosphere was great and service was wonderful!
