Love this place, amazing selection of craft beers and great pub food. All the standards fish & chips, great parmas, steak, pizzas and burgers. Always made to feel welcome. Support small business and drop in

Nice staff, good atmosphere. Decent food and tab beer. Just that it would have been perfect if the vege was less salty. Understand the sausage should be salty, then the potato should be not seasoned with salt so that both can go better with. :)

Fantastic feel with great beer and excellent food. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere and a great location convenient to North Melbourne Station and the CBD. Weekday food specials available.

Google Parent Tip

UPDATE IN AUGUST 2018 The pub changed hands since my last review and is now a more typical local pub. Still friendly service and a comfortable environment but more casual and a simpler menu. We've taken a bunch of kids there occasionally and its low stress because the floor is polished concrete and there is plenty of room for kids to run around. It has a wood fire in the dining hall which is a nice touch in the winter months. For carnivores, there are large blackboards on the walls explaining the various cuts of meat. they also offer a meat event - where, if you can gather up 11 friends, they'll run a class for you.
