The Carlton Rooftop Bar

Went in expecting a decent night out, but the bar service completely ruined it. I ordered my drink clearly, and they still gave me the wrong one. When I politely told them it wasn’t what I ordered, instead of fixing it, the staff got defensive and annoyed that I wouldn’t just drink the wrong thing. No apology, no replacement, just attitude. Everyone makes mistakes, but the way they handled it was unbelievable. unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. If you can’t serve the right drink or treat customers with respect, what’s the point? I won’t be going back, and I’d recommend others think twice before wasting their money here.

Palmz is truly like escaping Melbourne to a tropical island like Thailand. It’s my fave rooftop in Melbs. Full of palm trees and tropical plants underfoot the stars high above the city. The food and drinks are delicious. It’s a great place for a party or a dinner catch up with a friend. Service and staff are always friendly and attentive. I recommend it for a fab night out.

Terrific spot, especially on a warm/hot night as it feels so much cooler than the street temperature. Really good vibe with a mixed crowd.
