We were there last Saturday. It was few queue were waiting. We just put our name on a screen and wait to be seated. Didn’t wait long at all, the seats were offered as we didn’t mind the window seats. Ordered through QR code, I chose spicy chicken with tonkatsu soup based and gyoza to shared. Lots of noodles and I was so fulled.

This tiny ramen joint is an absolute must. I’ve done the rounds across Melbourne, but this one is easily my number one. The noodles have that perfect chew, the broth is proper hearty and silky, and the meat is just melting in your mouth. I honestly thought the takoyaki was gonna be some frozen, mid tier stuff, but it tasted fresh as like they’d just whipped it up right in front of you. The beer range is a massive win, too. Had a proper good feed here, 10/10 would recommend.

They offer two types of vegan ramen. 🍜🍥 There was a wait during lunchtime on the weekend. I waited a few minutes before entering, but I was relieved to see that they politely guided me in order. Perhaps because they were busy, the ramen wasn't drained properly, which was a bit disappointing, as the soup was a little watery. I'm sure they serve even more delicious ramen🙂

Great little venue for ramen in the Melbourne CBD. Modest dining space, you order via QR code so interaction with the pleasant staff was limited, however the star is absolutely the delicious ramen. Spicy chicken with some add on’s from the selections available was superb. For a casual or quick meal in the CBD, Mr Ramen San is a great option.

Had a wonderful meal at Mr Ramen San. Located in an arcade off Little Bourke Street, is an authentic Japanese ramen place. We had the gyoza which was perfectly cooked with a bit of crunch. The spicy ramen broth was thick and flavorful, not too salty, not oily, didn’t burn your mouth but warmed your stomach. They offer free extra noodle portions 1/2 or full serve. My husband had the Katsu Don and he was impressed with the thickness of the pork and the flavor of the sauce. Definitely will come back again
