Dropped into Blue Bar on Chapel Street after seeing their happy-hour specials online, and it turned out to be a solid little find. Their happy hours run Tuesday to Sunday from 2 pm to 10 pm, and the drink prices are genuinely some of the best along Chapel. In my photo, youβll see the drinks I grabbedβa refreshing gin with lemonade on the left and a smooth whiskey with water on the right. Both were super affordable and hit the spot. The staff was great tooβreally friendly, upbeat, and helpful with requests, which made the experience even better. The vibe inside leans heavily into hip-hop and street-art culture, which I liked. The bar area has colourful murals and dim neon lighting, giving it a relaxed, late-night feel. I also snapped a photo of the menβs restroom, which is absolutely covered in graffiti. Itβs chaotic in an artistic wayβit fits the whole street-style theme of the venue and actually looks kind of cool if youβre into that underground aesthetic. The only small improvement Iβd suggest is the music selection. The tracks on the night didnβt match the vibe for me, but thatβs an easy fix and definitely not a dealbreaker. Overall, Blue Bar is a great spot for cheap drinks, friendly service, and a unique atmosphere. Would happily return for another happy-hour session.
