The food is superb. My friend and I enjoyed sharing various delicious options.
The service is either full on our, so laid back we had to ask for attention. It's ok as environments go, but if it got busy it would be very very noisy.
What I found unacceptable is being virtually told to pay the bill and go because my dinner partner were discussing a business paper. Rude.

Overall, the food was good. We ordered crispy duck leg, legit fried rice, chicken noodle, steamed fish, and sticky rice. Everyone was happy with the food.

Overall a good experience, sat outside on a sunny day.
We ordered the vegie san choy now, mushroom dumplings, vegie fried rice and garlic spinach. The ingredients were fresh, presentation was nice however it all lacked in flavour. We had to add soy and loads of chili oil to get it a bit exciting.
Would still go back though but it's not on my favourite list

We came here for a friends birthday dinner we were on the $55 set menu. We had a private space in the loft area. We had a beautiful experience. The food was very flavorful and tasty. The portions were good for the price. We were very impressed with the staff in their attentiveness to us. Adrian and a few other staff were looking after us and always made sure we had a drink and were enjoying ourselves they were all so lovely. They even sang happy birthday and gave us complementary white chocolate dumplings/mochi which was to die for!! Overall great experience props to the staff at Oriental tea House, South Yarra

3 of us went in for a friends birthday. What a special treat!! We didn’t tell them it was his birthday, they overheard us talking and at the end of the night came out with candles and singing happy birthday to him he felt so special! Thank you!!! One of us is COELIAC and the gluten free options were outstanding! Excellent staff helping her out absolute 10/10 experience. Cant wait to go back.
