Their Wednesday burger night has become our favorite burger place to go. Burger was very tasty and freshly cooked. Onion rings and chimps are just right with the burgers.

Lulie Tavern is an unpretentious rock ‘n’ roll gem on Johnston Street, offering a quintessential Melbourne dive bar experience. The downstairs area buzzes with free pool, live local bands, and a dim, saloon-style atmosphere. Upstairs, the "Full Moon Fever" rooftop provides a desert-inspired oasis with a retractable roof for all-weather drinks. Expect hearty burgers, legendary onion rings, and a solid selection of craft beers and cocktails.

Terrible staff. Bartender grunted and impatient when waiting for us to chose our drinks. Over charged for happy hour / daily special. The chicken was undercooked and extremely oily. Not served with napkins either. Would not recommend unless you like dark cold pubs with miserable staff.

We can’t thank Lulie enough for being so accommodating with our small elopement party. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a special day, and we’re so grateful for how smoothly everything went. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, friendly and memorable experience!
