Today ordered Fried Chicken Ribs, Grilled Pork Chops and Fried Fish. Mom tried the fried fish it was delicious. I decided to eat the Chicken Ribs and Pork Chops with my dad. The chicken ribs were a bit chewy. The skin is chewy but meat is slightly dry. The pork chop was flavourful with the sweet marinate. But it was dry. Overall, this is a decent restaurant.

Hidden gem and a daily eating kind of place in Springvale. They sell various Vietnamese dishes. Buy your home made style tasting dish here, cook some rice and you have dinner ready. Prices are not displayed. I normally get a soup and 2 dishes for about 20 to 25 dollars. I appreciate that the dishes are not really oily which can be an issue at other similar styled places in speingvale.
Very friendly service.

Rice paper rolls were absolutely delicious - perfect bouncy texture when steamed to reheat, really good flavour. Would love to try the other things they have available - all looks great!

VN Food Street is a hidden treasure in Springvale which is serving up some of the most delicious traditional Vietnamese street food around.
Tucked away in a deep corner of the Springvale Centre just off Springvale Road (the smallest of the 3 shopping centres in Springvale), it seems that this place only known to those who venture away from the more mainstream eateries in the larger centres.
The kitchen is run by a team of older Vietnamese ladies and you get the feeling they have spent their lives in a kitchen; whether that's at work or at home preparing meals for large families. They carefully tend to everything cooking on the stoves, putting love into each dish and serving each customer with a warm smile.
The bain-maries are carefully laid out so every is organized into neat and tidy portions, while the rice paper roll station is filled with fresh ingredients of vibrant green lettuce, herbs and meats.
Everything here is made from scratch and everything is put out to be sold in small batches so it stays fresh.
Their menu offers a variety of braised dishes, such as beef, chicken, fish, tofu and vegetables. You can also find a variety of traditional soups which start at just $3 for a small and $5 for large. The homemade steamed rice rolls filled with chicken and mushroom, and also, pork and shrimp, served with fried shallots and dipping sauce are highly recommended ($6).
For $10, you can get a large plate of white rice and three sides. The homemade glutinous rice balls in ginger syrup are gooey and fresh, sold for just $3 in a tub of 2 mung bean filled rice balls and plenty of small plain ones with coconut milk on the side.
Although located in a walkthrough arcade, it offers seating to its customers. To the left of the store is a communal table, where you can quietly sit, eat and watch the shoppers go by while feeling like you’re still right there in the middle of it all or you can start up a conversation with some of the other friendly diners. A fantastic feature for a place selling street food!
When we first googled this place, we found nothing. It’s not even listed in the yellow or white pages! So here we are finally putting it on the map.
As a friendly Pilipino lady we met today at the communal table who has travelled to Vietnam 8 times told us “this place makes the best street food around here!” We couldn’t agree more!

A hidden eats in Springvale which sells traditional Vietnamese street food. The ladies working there are so lovely and we bought a banh cuon which is a Vietnamese steam rice roll filled with minced meat and dipped with nuoc nam. The flavour overall was light and savoury. The springrolls were a decent size and so crispy.
