This place is amazing for waffles!
I’ve visited about three times just to have their waffles because they’re that good.
To be honest, the coffee was just okay. I ordered a flat white, but it tasted burnt every time I visited. The same went for the long black.
When the cafe becomes full customers, the staff politely ask customers to leave, which is understandable.

Value was so-so. But the area itself is beautiful and the staff very attentive & nice. I had takeaway, so only commenting in regards to that experience. Not sure if I'd recommend when your looking for something value & quality. Dirty chai was milky and the size was disappointing for cost. Sanga was tasty but once again value so-so.
I'd have to go back and try eating-in.

Great experience at Bricklane. We tried the baba ganoush and the corn waffles with poached eggs, both were fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavour. Busy atmosphere and nicely presented dishes. Would happily return :)

I will usually inhale scrambled eggs. The chilli scramble here was a bit too spicy and oily/cheesy for me. It felt heavy and hard to taste the egg. The bread was interesting, it tasted like sweet brioche.

Had a great breakfast experience here, had a short wait in line ( we got there early around 9am on a Sunday ) service was great, friendly and fast, the coffee was hot and strong and overall had a great lasting impression.
The share tables are quirky but practical . Would happily come here again!
