Never rated a grocery store but this morning had a pleasant experience with the staff. Vince and a nice lady assisted with finding me some produce before I went to the gym. Really appreciated the help and thoughtful resolution, was not expecting that and was a nice start to my morning. Thank you 🫂

Extremely friendly, helpful staff; eccentric and delightful store, plenty of good specials - take a look at their bread and roast chickens in the early evening. Their little cafe serves better than decent coffee. A gem of a place.

I get that some people like to take it easy, but come on doing someone’s shopping isn’t rocket science. Maybe hire people who can actually shop without taking three hours to pack a few items. Riders shouldn’t have to wait half a day for an order. A bit of efficiency wouldn’t hurt.

This Woolie's location is amazing, located right next to the light rail and just down Fitzroy St not far from the beach and Albert Park. It makes doing post workout shopping an actual thing, as the self checkout terminals which are pristine and well kept support tap payment from phones.
The store shelves are well maintained and you can find what you are looking for in a basic circuit even if you don't frequent supermarkets too often. I found the general disposition not staff pleasing and they are quite helpful. The kind gentleman who was manning the self checkouts even offered me a few bags with my purchases when I awkwardly looked around for something to put my goods in.
Overall it's a clean, convenient and pleasant shopping experiences. The staff are pretty easy on the eyes too so that's definitely a positive...
