The latte we ordered did not have enough froth and was pured over the glass and into the saucer. The table was so small that we had to playe jigsaw with the dishes to fit everything in. There was not enough leg room and had to fold all our legs backwards the whole time. The crew were really friendly and welcoming, but they the tables need to be more attended to collect empty dishes and glasses. I handed them over myself to make some room for the rest of the food. The dessert were supreme and just the right piece for a weekend morning. Sourdough was not toasted enough and looked white as toast. Although there are nice tee shops close to them, the pepper mint tea was so weak in taste and tatsed like see weed after about 20 minutes. I hope their manager/owner gives the table settings a second reorientation.

Loved my visit here for breakfast. Came with a friend for breaky and we really enjoyed our visit. The food was delicious, the coffee really tasty and the service was excellent. It was a little cool and we scored a table in front of the fire which was really nice. The venue is really lovely and has nice ambience.

Lack of staff and efficiency. Was good with intialy greetings. Portion is scrawny size for $32 big breakfast and with average traffic takes 40mins to serves is pretty sad. Beverages is good. Atmosphere and setting is clean. Not recommended if you are hungry.

Google Parent Tip

Great lunch with family this raining day. Nice and warm inside. Delicious drinks and food with full house but decent service speed. Thank you.

Great cafe. We’ve been here 3-4 times over several years and it’s always been consistently good. Yesterday I had the cheeseburger and it was absolutely perfect. They have seriously mastered the burger. When it was brought out, the table next to us even said, “Jeez, that looks good!”. Soft, fresh milk bun, a perfectly cooked beef patty, melty cheese and delicious sauces. Every bite was spot on. The shoestring fries on the side were a masterclass in good chips. Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and just the right amount. We paired the meal with a local beer, the Hop Hen Hazy Pale Ale, which was super fresh, juicy and bright. The staff were also genuinely friendly and very considerate. It was a bit busy out the front, and they noticed that the small table for two they were going to seat us at was quite crowded. Instead, they offered us a bench for three at a little outdoor bar area, facing beautiful hydrangeas and shaded by a silver birch tree. It was a lovely, thoughtful touch. Thanks for a beautiful meal! We’ll definitely be back. 😊
