A lovely spot for High Tea. We did the garden option and think the extra cost is 100% worth it for the private gazebo amongst the beautiful gardens. The setting is so tranquil and it’s so different from the other high teas you can do elsewhere in Melbourne. The food was beautifully presented and everything tasted as good as it looked. The amount of food received was generous and we actually had to take our second scones home as we were so full. The drink selection is also lovely with a good range of hot and iced, traditional and unique options. The homemade scones were excellent with a crunchy exterior and light, fluffy inside.
The staff were also all incredibly friendly and regularly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Being able to walk around the gardens and visit the cute alpacas was also a bonus, as is the tea house’s proximity to other Dandenong Ranges attractions making it an ideal spot for a leisurely day out. This is one I’ll definitely be coming back to sooner rather than later and would highly recommend to anyone looking to do high tea or enjoy the beauty of the Dandenong Ranges in a different way.

We recently had our wedding at Olinda Tea House, and it was such a beautiful venue. The staff were always incredibly accommodating. A special massive thank you to our wedding manager, Adi. She was so helpful throughout the entire process.
As a perfectionist, I wanted to have several wedding rehearsals, and Adi helped organise as many as we needed so we could feel more relaxed about the day. I also asked her countless questions, and she always reassured me that she was more than happy to answer every single one.
On the wedding day itself, Adi was very hands-on. She helped fix my train right before I walked down the aisle, assisted with decorations we brought but didn’t have time to finish, and helped coordinate our surprise proposal during the bouquet toss by secretly bringing out my husband’s guitar and ensuring the bouquet was ready at the right moment. She truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect.
The food was absolutely delicious 😋 We received so many compliments from our guests, with many saying it was the best and most filling food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We didn’t want typical “wedding food” that just looks good — we wanted food that was filling, beautifully presented, and tasted amazing, which was one of the main reasons we chose Olinda Tea House.

We had our dinner to celebrate our marriage with a intimate dinner, and Olinda Tea House and Adi were amazing in helping us organise and plan! For anyone organising a event, the food here was AMAZING. We had rave reviews from everyone that the range of food from the banquet menu was so good, we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of food. All our guests we're saying it was a feast! The food was perfect for our asian and western guests.
Adi also helped us lay out or decorations and gifts for everyone too, and was really prompt in replying to us. She made organising our event really easy.

High Tea: Bring an appetite!
While all the food that comes with the High Tea are small on their own, the whole array of sweet and savoury bites definitely filled us up!
The staff were amazing and double checked our allergy/dietary preferences (which we also noted when booking), and were very friendly.
The tea selection was fantastic and the view of the gardens from the covered seating area was lovely in the sunny weather!
Would definitely recommend for a special day out!

Customer service instead very poor. The waiters were all over the place, having no idea where the tables were and we almost got charged for another's table consumpsation which we had to debate at the front because they wouldn't believe us...👎
They have vegan options and the desserts are too cute to eat! 🤩
