Lucky enough to get a table on a busy Thursday night! The staff provided great service, and the food was amazing. I would say a step above your average pub meal. The vegetarian meal - mushroom steak was delicious and the French style chocolate mousse was the real deal. Will be back and I hope they keep the chocolate mousse on the dessert menu as I am having withdrawals.

Gorgeous little Pub on the old streets of Seddon, what a pleasant surprise this was.
Perfect in everyway food,ambience, atmosphere and staff.
Steak served with chips,rocket salad and a Bernaise sauce was a winner 🏆
Carlton draught schooner was on point fresh & Icy Cold.
Pub turns into a music pumping packed up bar after about 9pm
It was a perfect place for my daughter's 30th.
Highly recommend.

Great pub, atmosphere, seating and staff. Dim sims and garlic bread were delicious. My partner really enjoyed the barramundi and the presentation was excellent. I ordered the schnitzel salad - the walnut salad with it was excellent; but the chicken, my daughter and I didn’t enjoy, I expected chicken Schnitz pieces but its not what you’d expect - it seems like a pressed chicken piece with quite intense Smokey flavours on it, so not a schnitzel as it says on the menu. Aside from that we love Mona Castle, have been before and loved it, and will def go again.

1 year later much better experience . I actually like coming here. I was attending a birthday on Sat night. The guy with the hat was so friendly and engaging with everyone. I must have been lucky even the atmosphere was awesome. It was luck. Staff were amazing.Thank you

The parma was great, juicy chicken, cheese melted just right but the service left a lot to be desired. Upon arrival we were ignored for a good 5 minutes while 3 staff sorted out one bill at the till. We waited ages between service and meals and on ordering dessert I asked for their Nikka Coffey Grain whisky (which is on the menu) and the host had no idea what I was talking about. When the whisky came it was a meager pour (especially for $19) and served in a HOT glass straight from the dishwasher. Completely ruined it. Overall good food but inattentive, uncaring service and so that makes it hard to recommend.
Oh and extremely boring selection of tap beers.
