Quality Has Dropped – Extremely Disappointed!!!
This used to be our absolute favorite place for Hyderabadi Dum Chicken Biriyani. We’ve been loyal customers for years because the taste was always authentic and perfect.
However, things have changed drastically. Last month, we ordered and the biriyani was extremely spicy—completely different from what we were used to. We called to give feedback, and they admitted the chef had messed up and apologized.
Trusting them, we gave it another chance after a month or so. And sadly, the second order was even worse—so spicy that we couldn’t eat more than a few bites (and our spice tolerance is high!). When we called again, we were told the biriyani was “mild” and that our spice threshold was low.
Utterly disappointed with both the food quality and the customer service. It’s heartbreaking to see such a fantastic restaurant’s standards fall so drastically.

I recommend this restaurant, the food is mouth watering, i couldnt stop eating and i even crave it after having just left.
the beautiful ladies who work there are so sweet, amazing service and you can tell how much effort is put into food and presentation.
also the prices are so reasonable, for just 30$ me and my mum were stuffed with food!
very friendly staff, and the interior is clean and pleasant.
10/10 i recommend ❤️❤️

I just ordered veg biryani and mutton biryani, and I feel sick and upset. The money they charge and the food they provide have no connection. It’s a disaster under the name of Hyderabadi biryani. Unfortunately, this has happened a few times, and I'm compelled to order from them out of necessity. Last time, I had to go to bed hungry because the food was so bad, and today is no different.
When you're under the weather, the last thing you want is bad food. When you pay for a meal, you naturally have expectations that it will be good. The biryani rice was mushy, there was too much masala, and the veg biryani had no salt—all I could taste was tanginess. The mutton biryani was overly spicy, not cooked properly, and dumped with masala, making it soft and unappetizing.
Now, I have to figure out what to eat for dinner, probably just bread, when I should have just stuck to that instead of ordering. Never again! Nothing from their restaurant is good. It’s frustrating to think that, especially in the food industry, they prioritize profit over quality. People order food for various reasons, particularly when they're feeling unwell, and when you charge a premium, you should at least provide a decent meal.

Had such an amazing time at Grand Restaurant, Caroline Springs!
Everything we tried—the Pani Puri, Papdi Chaat, Chicken Noodles, BBQ Platter, Chole Bhature, Butter Chicken, Cheese Naan, Prawns 65, Fried Fish, Rabri, and Gajar ka Halwa—was absolutely delicious. Shubh was so kind while serving us, and Kuljinder, the head chef, even came over when we told her how much we loved the food.
We finished off with Irani Chai on the go.
The ambiance was warm, the service super quick, and honestly, the food was next level.
Can’t wait to come back!

Grand restaurant was a pleasant surprise for me and my friends. Tucked away in a cozy part of Caroline springs among some shops, it is not a place where you walk in expecting great service and excellent food, but that is what you get. When we walked in we were a bit skeptical but everything changed when the food arrived.
Ambiance: Nothing to write home about, but what we have here is a clean and simple place to enjoy a meal with your loved ones.
Staff: This was a major stand out for me. The staff (a young lady, sorry I didn’t get your name, but trust me you deserve a named review) here was very helpful and understanding. Amazing service and great attitude, customer service at its peak. Didn’t even have to ask for takeaway boxes. When she saw that we were done eating and had leftovers, she came to us with a box! ! !
Food: This is the star of the show here. We got the mix platter, and let me tell you it’s a lot of food. What is advertised as a 4 person meal could easily feed 5 - 6 people. And great quality too, the biriyani had the right flavours and nice fluffy rice. Lamb shank literally survived for a minute or two before we demolished it. Tea was so good we had a two each 😂
Overall very happy and can’t wait to come back for more.
