First of all, it's rare to find proper yaprak döner in Australia, and they actually did it well — the döner was tasty and the içli köfte was also good. I understand that the place was busy, but the service was very poor. I went inside just to get the menu, then I asked the waiter for a plate they didn’t bring it, so I had to go inside again to request it once more. If I have to keep going inside every time I need something, then there’s no point in having tables outside. Also, I don’t recommend the lahmacun.

Got the mixed grill for lunch. The chicken sish was tender and juicy, so was the lamb and Adana. Nothin to complain. Decent portion and the bread was so soft. The two dips was so good, wished the gave more. Overall a 7.5/10. Will be back.

I visited Galata Kebab and Grill and ordered the mixed meal with chicken doner, lamb doner, and a lahmacun. The dips were generous, the salads were fresh, and the adana was genuinely delicious, full of flavour and cooked really well. The portion sizes were large and definitely good value. The only thing that caught me off guard was the timing. My adana arrived first, but the doner took noticeably longer, and a couple if patrons who arrived after me received their mixed meals before mine. I had to follow up with the staff multiple times, which was a little frustrating, though they were friendly and attentive overall.

The staff was nice. But man is this place expensive for its portions. $36 for a mixed kebab place, the smallest amount of rice on the plate, the meat was cold and so was the bread. Photo below of the rice after I tried a little from it however you can see how small the portion is for the price they charge. Edit version after reply: As confirmed below Galata charges $36 for just meat (handful) two dips and bread, the rice is complimentary guys which makes the price even more absurd.

Yes! Adana kebab definitely lived up to the hype. If you’re craving authentic & traditional & taste… you’ll enjoy this well seasoned kebab & the kunefe 👌🏼😋🔥Portion size is very generous & the bread is super fresh.
