Great atmosphere and exceptional food in this Little Bourke Street close to Spring to street and Her Majesty’s Theatre. The sweet and sour pork was divine, as were the prawn pad Thai and roti with satay sauce. The place was full at 6.00pm, as it was every day we walked past.

Came here for dinner on Monday night and it was already very busy by 6pm. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff were really accommodating and found us a table outside. We ordered the Pash and Dash cocktail, Southside curry, Pad Thai, and roti on the side, and everything was amazing. Some of the best food I’ve had in years. The curry was super flavourful with the perfect amount of spice, the Pad Thai was so yummy, and the roti was crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and didn’t go soggy with the sauces. Great food, lovely staff, and such a good experience overall. Will definitely be back.

What a great ‘find’ in Melbourne CBD at 35 Little Bourke Street. ‘Hochi Mamma’ is such a fantastic option for those wanting ‘clean Asian fusion dishes’. The ‘Booth Seating’ allows for around (5) people comfortably, and I agree with other Reviews, it does ‘get noisy’ indoors, around the peak hour lunch times of 12 noon-3pm. Perhaps the venue could consider some ‘Sound Acoustic Absorption’ options? Very hard to hear at your own table. Ordering the ‘Chicken Cashew Stir fry’ with extra added Tofu; was a fantastic choice for sure. $29.00 + $5.00 for the extra Tofu= $34.00 for this main meal. $7.00 for the small Coconut Rice. The ‘Crispy Chicken’ was the most flavoursome I have had! You just want more because you have enjoyed it so much! So glad I added the Tofu- Also the best caramelised ‘wow’ flavour; other ingredients included Capsicum/ Chinese Celery/ Cashews/ Spring Onion & Chilli. For those who like more Chilli, I would ask for ‘Double chilli’ for a real ‘Hot Kick’. Foodies will appreciate the great choices on the Menu & it’s fantastic quality fresh food with bold tastes. The only downside for our table was that no one was above to order a ‘Coffee’ nor a ‘Fresh Leaf Chai’- with diff Milk options. Not sure why this thriving popular restaurant doesn’t have a ‘Coffee Machine’ blasting them out for diners. Apart from this, not being able to get a hot drink, I would have given this restaurant a 5/5. Definitely going back for the fantastic food & will get a ‘Hot Drink’ elsewhere.

We were there for business lunch, in a group of 5 people. Firstly, the ambience is like a bar (i imagine can be very busy). The table we were at was round, so easy to share the food. I would still prefer a lot more space to be honest. Food was abundant and well portioned. People talk about the sweetness of the food and I agree. Personally prefer it to be a l9t less sweet. The flavours, presentation and execution however were impeccable. Everything was bold in flavour, fresh and put together nicely. The drinks I had was the Forever Young mocktail, also delicious The feed me package for 5 ($45 pp) came with 5 small's, 5 large's and 3 sides. For this type of restaurant, it is definitely value for money. We got there just before 12 and got out by 1.30pm. The service was attentive. I will return for another special occasion. Dishes we had: Small: Tofu baos, Vegetarian dumplings, Duck wontons, Spicy fried tempura prawns & lobster tacos Large: fried whole barramundi, Hanoi style vegie curry, duck curry, Mama's beef salad and the stir fry eggplant & beans. Sides: 3 rice and 2 rotis (2 were additional)

This place has a cozy, inviting atmosphere with warm, dim LED lighting, perfect for families or a casual dinner out. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the experience even more pleasant. 🤩 If you’re a chili lover, you’ll definitely enjoy the food! For those who prefer milder flavors, it’s best to check with the staff , im sure they’re happy to adjust. The menu offers a great variety of dishes with an interesting concept , a creative fusion styles that’s both exciting and unique. The portion sizes are very generous, so don’t be shy about packing up your leftovers to enjoy later. The bao buns are a definite must-try: soft, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The cocktails and mocktails are also beautifully done , refreshing and well-balanced. A small note: the place can get a bit noisy during peak hours, but it adds to the lively, energetic vibe rather than taking away from the experience. One suggestion would be to add a few more kid-friendly options, as younger diners might find some of the fusion dishes a little adventurous. (Bao buns meal maybe). The spring rolls, though tasty, were a little on the oily side for my liking. I took the favourites feast at 75pp. 😋 Overall: Great value for 💸 excellent food, and a wonderful spot for food lovers. A place worth visiting ✨️
