While staying at Chateau Yering we dined at Eleanor’s . It is like stepping back in time in terms of ambience & decor yet the food was modern . The service was excellent and the night we dined we had Maxwell as our server who single handed attended to everyone in the dining room . He was professional , friendly and a very knowledgeable young man . While Eleanor’s is expensive it is a wonderful place for a special occasion dinner

Wonderful dinner! The flavours were well balanced and light, ingredients fresh and curated. Yering wine, excellent!
The portions were perfect, had the three course with a side and we cleaned our plate. Visited for valentines and the team made the night feel very special. Mussel and crab entree 11/10. The pork was nicely cooked, recommend. We were seated in Phil’s section and he was an absolute delight.

Dining at Eleonore’s Restaurant is a must. Their two- and three-course menus offer a fantastic selection, with every dish bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. Every dish we had was well-balanced and delicious - kudos to the chef for the passion they put into each dish to make it shine.
The venue exuded romance, and for those who appreciate high-quality food made with locally sourced produce, I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
A special thanks to Phil, who truly went above and beyond in looking after us. His attentiveness made our experience even more memorable.

Wow what a mediocre, underwhelming experience!
Hubby & I thought we’d treat ourselves to a quiet night away and dinner at Chateau Yering to celebrate New Year’s Eve.. boy oh boy were we let down!
Upon being seated at dinner, we then waited and watched staff tending to other guests, some of whom were seated after us, clearing tables etc (it definitely was not at capacity or busy) for around 20-25 mins until my husband embarrassingly had to flag a waiter just to pour our glasses of water. No apology despite me trying to laugh it off by saying ‘we must have been forgotten about’
Food was ok-ish, but definitely not the fine dining experience we were expecting and no celebratory buzz in the air despite the time of year.
The accomodation was nice, but the entire estate is very run down with huge potential, given the heritage but definitely needs a massive overhaul to give guests & diners a more pleasant experience and something to actually rave about to friends/family
Family Friendly
