I visited the McDonald’s at BP Keysborough today. I have been purchasing the Friends promotion meals repeatedly to collect the cups. However, every single time, I was given the Joey character — despite this not being a blind box promotion and there being six different characters available.
I have been eating at this location for two weeks, and every visit resulted in the same item. When I politely asked the counter staff for a replacement, they pretended to check but ultimately refused to exchange it.
This experience was extremely disappointing and felt unfair to loyal customers. I hope management can review staff training and ensure fair distribution of promotional items.

We attempted to start a pay-it-forward chain at the drive-thru, thinking it would be a fun and generous gesture. But somewhere along the way, we confused the system - orders got mixed up, the staff looked a bit stressed, and it didn’t go quite as smoothly as we’d hoped. Thankfully, the two cars behind us turned out to be our friends, so they were more amused than annoyed. It wasn’t the seamless act of kindness we envisioned, but it made for a good laugh all around.
Oh, and overall the food was pretty decent too! Good chicken wrap, good fries and good sundae. Our nuggets were a bit hard and dry on this occasion, but the fun memories made up for it.

I ordered a Large Big Mac meal on Sunday. It took 45 minutes for it to arrive, even though their crappy business was so dead and dry. The food came, however, a young chap Nick Ly decided it was a good idea to tip the tray onto my lap, spilling my drink, and big mac on my lap. i will not be visiting again. Thanks.

The girl working the drive thru here at 12:20 was SO lovely and cheerful!! Seriously was so nice to experience. It’s not always an easy job, especially so late at night! So thank you maccas worker, for the effort you put in despite it all. Same goes to the guy handing us our food!!

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers happy meals, only just want cheese, bun and patty. They actually charged $2.80 extra for extra cheese. Is this some kind of joke?? So better off order cheeseburger and throw away the unwanted ingredients.
