Had an amazing experience at this dhaba-style restaurant in Melton! We ordered the Indian Tandoori Sizzler, Paneer Ka Sang with naan and rice, Amritsari Kulcha with Chole, and Dal Makhani with rice and naan. Every single dish was full of flavour and served in generous portions — nothing felt watered down or compromised.
There was a little wait, but it was absolutely worth it. The food tasted authentic, fresh, and comforting, and the portion sizes make it totally worth the money. Definitely coming back!

Very disappointing experience. I ordered Amritsari Kulcha, and it was way too big, hanging over and touching the dirty table, which was extremely unhygienic. The table itself was not cleaned properly, and serving food like this is unacceptable. Cleanliness is basic, especially in a restaurant. Definitely not the quality I was expecting. Staff is not good the guy in front don’t have manner how to talk with customer. Won’t be coming back.

We had the Tandoori Mushroom, Samosa, Butter Chicken, Basmati Rice and Cheese Naan. Everything was delicious, and the Butter Chicken had a great smoky flavour. Staff were also friendly and attentive. Recommend checking it out :)

First time at this venue, we have been to the other locations and loved the food
They used ghee for cooking and genuine and fresh ingredients and cooking is done freshly
But it is the taste, the ambience and service that brings us back again and again
We are very happy to have Desi Dhaba closer to home
