The service here is excellent, happy staff and very fast service.
Our meals were delectable! Chicken parmigiana was very hot, crunchy on the outside and moist inside! The veal parmigiana was lovely and tender. Crispy chips and a lovely salad.
My only suggestion is a salad dressing with a bit more flavour!
Oh and disappointed that I couldn’t purchase a can or bottle of diet soft drink! The reason behind this was because a bottle can be used as a weapon and they are not allowed to sell cans of soft drink. So my question is why can they not have cans or bottles and pour it into a glass for the customer?
Overall though fantastic atmosphere, staff and meals. Will definitely return!
I just spoke with a lady from the bar and she said their sugar free soft drink on tap is nice and gave me a glass to try. It was actually quite nice! Not syrupy like I’ve experienced in the past at other places. So I recommend that option!

The new Border Inn, wow where do I start.!! The service, the hospitality, the vibe, the music, everything you would expect from a semi country town. Now, let's get to the business end....... The food is IMPECCABLE.!! and well priced. If you want amazing food, do yourself a favour and "come on down" to The Border Inn, and have yourself a time.!!!!

Most of the experience was nice including food. Just because of the female bartender showing attitude and with zero customer service skills kinda ruined it.
We waited quite a while and had put orders at the bar.
I try to ask questions about food menu and other and she started making faces and answering weirdly.
Apart from one person most of the staff was nice and professional.
We spent nearly $200 but deserved a bit better service.
Would highly recommend for management to put people at the bar who actually wants to do customer service and not looked force.

We had a lovely dinner here recently- delicious fish & chips , & fresh salad with yummy 😋 dressing , very friendly & hospitable service we were made to feel very welcome. Charming & historic pub with good atmosphere. Thankyou we Will return .
