Great service, friendly staff and excellent meals, nice cold beers, good atmosphere, what more could you ask for? Both meals are seniors, serving size was generous. Steak was cooked as ordered, it was tender and had excellent chargrilled flavour, came with your choice of sauce. Chips were tasty, salad was simple but was tasty as well. Calamari was very tender and came with an Aioli sauce. This is the second time we have had lunch here, and it won't be the last. Keep up the good work Commercial!

Terrible vibe!
Went in for the $20 Parma and pot advertised all over their building
First enter into the restaurant area to be told that deal is only for the bar
So I go next door and an introduced to the day drinking crowd on a Monday at 1pm
When ordering I am told I need to download an app to be able to purchase the promotional Parma
I reluctantly do so and go sit in the back of the bar near the pool tables
Crusty Retiree crowd silently drinking with a table of tradesmen over in the corner
The food comes out around 10 minutes Parma is crunchy and the salad and chips weren’t worth eating.
Don’t bring a date here, fellas

Great service, great food in a lovely clean atmosphere. Wonderful friendly staff, our main waitress Kaye & the other staff was so friendly & very accommodating. They made my Son, Kodi’s 21st birthday an occasion to remember. Thank you all so much. Susan Setter

Here for the first time for two separate parts of the venue. First the bistro. It was a busy night with a sold out show in the band room, so naturally the service will be a little slower and I accepted that. The food however came out staggered all different times for us 8 people ordered at the same time. The veggies on my plate was cold.
Next, the bandroom layout was generally great, but sadly this night the service have really let this entire venue down. From the moment the doors open, there were four rows of queues for the bar, each one at least 12 deep. My partner and I gave up the first time we queued up we barely got halfway in the queue, and the support act was already halfway through her act, and we wanted to at least enjoy some of her show.
Then when the main acts started we thought surely after the first three songs, the punters and main fans are all busy we can have another go at the bar, and the queue was just the same as an hour earlier.
We finally got our first drinks for tonight, and with the state of that queue not easing, that became our one and only drink for the entire night.
Talking to just about everyone, their experiences were identical. The staff were overworked, under resourced & overwhelmed. They were the same restaurant staff plus the two that was already there.
If we spend only $30 for one round of drink, and gave up on my first & third round, they have lost $60 off my normal evening out spending, and I consider myself a light drinker. Multiply that x100 Punters, that's conservatively $6000 they didn't make over the bar that night.
Upside for them I guess is that the drive-thru bottle shop sale was through the roof that night, as I saw people leaving the band venue to buy and drink outside, before coming back in to see the band they're paid for.
And let's not talk about air conditioning, there were none. So after a 30 something degree day, plus a band room full of people, and inability to get drinks, you can only imagine the mood of the patrons.

Thank you for a lovely Christmas Day lunch. We were seated near a window in a nice quiet spot and felt well looked after. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty of delicious food. We always enjoy coming here for our seniors’ meals, and Christmas Day was no exception. It was a wonderful experience. Keep up the great work and we’ll see you again soon.
