My new favourite Japanese brunch & Onigiri-style cafe! The Unagi Onigiri is the best and a MUST-TRY — I also had a few other Onigiri and they were all excellent. The Panko Chicken Don set is my top pick for mains, so delicious! Curry scrambled egg with Fried chicken was also really good. And the hojicha was smooth and tasty. Highly recommended! 🇯🇵🍣✨ Ps. Booking in advance is recommended — this place gets busy all day!

The go-to place if you miss Japan and want some onigiri. A lot of varieties. Notable special: wagyu beef with foie gras. Yes it is. And there’s edible gold sprinkled on top. Fantastic. Hits the spot. Another highlight for me personally is the spicy raw salmon onigiri. Proper spicy with some acidity tanginess that cut through and make you want to eat more. Highly recommended.

Made me and my wife happy in our tummy. Good value onigiri: nice and thicc so the price is worth it. We all know how miserable onigiri rice without filling can be, but Daikokuten's delicious crunchy furikake solves that problem. And the filling? Excellent. No notes. Soft salmon with spicy mayo that had a nice lil kick, crunchy panko ebi. Fast service: stopped in at about 11.40am, ordered our onigiri/onigiri brekkie, and we were out by 12.05pm. If you're waiting for a drawback: the matcha latte is average, but liSTEN IT IS $5? in this economy??? you might as well buy it anyway. We don't live around here so we might not be back soon, but we'll definitely remember it for the next time we're around here. Thanks Daikokuten

First time visit and absolutely love their food! Lots of things to choose from the menu and everything looks delicious! Tried their popular seared salmon set, fried scallop and hojicha latte - flavours are well balanced and very tasty! Will definitely visit again. Service is great as well!

These guys know how to balance their flavours; every single dish was just perfect. We had the Chirashi Set which had the freshest of raw seafood and some interesting pickles. Not only did it taste good, it looked stunning. The Karaage Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They pride themselves on their Onigiri and there are lots to choose from, we had the mushroom one where all the different flavours were at the perfect ratio to each other. Even their coffee was perfect for my taste! The service was efficient and friendly
