A bit of a late review. Went here with my work team for a Christmas lunch and loved it. The dining room upstairs is perfect with the dark wood, service was just spot on - efficient and effective, they even knew the specials of the top of their head. My stake and ale pie was just absolutely yummy, the house HP sauce was omg delish. Food was delish and definitely recommended for a leisurely or formal meal.

Great spot only for after-work drinks. We booked a work Christmas lunch and were placed outside in a dark, dingy area that honestly felt like a dungeon.. Despite booking a proper table for 12, we were given a cluster of separated high-top tables. The food was extremely disappointing. The calamari entree tasted like frozen seafood, which is unacceptable at $26! The $32 burgers were cooked so well-done they seemed to have forgotten they were being cooked somewhere in the kitchen. The chicken schnitzel was dry and tasted like cardboard, only made edible by drowning it in the watery gravy. We were going to raise it with staff but felt bad for the colleague who chose the venue. Whats more outrageous is their $10 per person cakeage fee! You’re not Vue de Monde - charging that kind of fee without delivering service or food quality to match is ridiculous. Overall, I wouldn’t return for a meal, but it’s fine for happy hour drinks if you’re nearby.

🥂 Saint & Rogue: A Culinary Gem in the Heart of Melbourne From the moment you step into Saint & Rogue, you're wrapped in an atmosphere that’s equal parts elegant and inviting. The warm lighting, vintage charm, and subtle buzz of happy diners set the stage for a truly memorable experience. 🍽️ The Food The veal was a standout tender, perfectly seared, and paired with a rich reduction that elevated every bite. The chicken Kiev was a nostalgic delight, oozing buttery goodness with a crisp golden crust that would make any Eastern European grandmother proud. And the duck? Sublime. Succulent, flavour-packed, and plated with finesse, it struck that perfect balance between indulgence and artistry. 💫 The Service The staff at Saint & Rogue are the unsung heroes of the evening. Attentive without being intrusive, they bring genuine warmth and professionalism to the table. Whether it’s a wine recommendation or a cheeky joke between courses, they make you feel like a regular—even on your first visit. 🎉 Final Verdict Saint & Rogue isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to savour. With standout dishes, a vibrant-yet-cozy atmosphere, and a team that truly cares, it’s the kind of spot you’ll rave about long after the last bite.

Had dinner here with my wife. The staff were very friendly and engaging. The Monday steak special was delicious—we really enjoyed it. Great service, worth the tip! Definitely recommend and will return when we’re back in Melbourne.

Saint and Rogue is a lovely old english pub with wood panelled walls, and pretty decent food. the meatballs didn't look like much when they arrived but they were very tasty. The schnitzels looked decent but the chips looked like supermarket french fries.
