Lovely venue. A bit tricky to find the restaurant entrance and a long distance for folk with mobility issues. Restaurant is very nice, a good menu to choose from. Medium portion sizes. Prices are fine dining prices. Only 2 options for dessert. They charge $6 for anchovies on a 4 topping pizza, I felt that was a bit high. You can take your own birthday cake and the staff will serve it. Table service is very good. They just need the staff who take the orders to help the staff delivering the meals to know who ordered what. Credit card surcharge. They allowed bill splitting which is great.

I had the pleasure of working here yesterday Djaying and Mc'ing a wedding collaborating with ex TV presenter turned marriage celebrant Mike Larkan. The venue is modern looking with very good lighting. The staff were very accommodating especially Mandy who ran the venue like clock work. Carl the owner also assisted with the wedding offering practical suggestions to make the event run smoothly. The food was well presented and flavoursome. I highly recommend this fine venue for weddings and corporate functions.

A group of 11 of us visited Riverlea Winery to celebrate a 50th birthday and it was absolutely faultless from start to finish. The food was rated top quality by everyone at the table — not a single complaint, which says a lot with a group this size. The service was friendly, prompt and genuinely welcoming whilst the setting is magnificent and really adds to the occasion. A special mention to the house prosecco, which was a huge winner across the table. After lunch we spent time in the courtyard bar area, which was stunning and the perfect way to finish the day. Safe to say we’ve just found our new regular spot for dining and entertainment. Highly recommended

Such a good wine tasting! I don’t like red and Jeanine made sure I got a white wine instead. Really lovely venue and fantastic sommeliers!

Riverlea Estate Winery and its onsite eatery, Restaurant 1912, offer a delightful dining experience that seamlessly blends elegance with approachability. Nestled in Warrandyte, this eastern suburb gem caters to a diverse range of occasions, from casual luncheons to celebratory dinners and of course weddings. Upon arrival, the warm and welcoming front-of-house staff set the tone for our 60th birthday celebration lunch, with their friendly smiles and efficient service. The restaurant's interior exudes sophistication, with classy furnishings and decor, including linen tablecloths and napkins, comfortable seating, and a pleasantly spaced dining atmosphere. The tasteful ambiance features white stick trees and is awash with a gentle blue lighting effect. Polished concrete floors, timber ceilings, and tasteful modern lighting, create a cozy yet refined setting. The extensive food menu offers a plethora of delectable options to suit all tastes, while the drinks menu boasts a diverse selection to complement every dish. Our meals enticed us with their inviting presentation and were delicious. In term of pricing, Restaurant 1918 offers excellent value for the quality of cuisine and service provided. The opulent bathroom facilities further reflect the establishment's commitment to excellence, boasting luxurious décor and soothing background music. Furthermore, after our satisfying meals, we took the opportunity to explore the property through a self-guided tour, and we were thoroughly impressed by the facilities available. The upstairs area, serving as a perfect wedding reception venue, exuded elegance and charm. The picturesque lake, adorned with water lilies and frequented by ducks, provided a serene backdrop for outdoor events. An undercover area for wedding ceremonies, a rustic chapel building, and a charming white rotunda at the front of the complex added to the property's allure, offering plenty of picturesque photo opportunities for special occasions. Riverlea Estate stands out as a top-notch dining destination in the eastern suburbs, eliminating the need to venture out to the Yarra Valley for a memorable winery experience. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner, a family outing, or a gathering with friends, this establishment delivers on all fronts, earning its place as a must-visit venue for discerning food enthusiasts. With attentive service, delectable cuisine, and enchanting surroundings, this establishment undoubtedly earns its place as a notable destination for locals and visitors alike. *I would like to see clearer signs directing guests towards parking and the front door to be more noticeable or welcoming as an entrance point( the blue door stood out more and made entering confusing) We will definitely be back, and are already looking forward to returning, especially to explore La Strada, with its promise of beautiful autumn tones and it's maple tree decor, adding to the enchanting atmosphere of the venue.

Family Friendly
