I asked for my frappe to be extra blended because big bits of ice clogs the straw and you pretty much have to eat with a spoon. This branch didn’t even blend the frappe like how it’s normally blended. No point asking them to “extra blend” it if they don’t even “normal blend” it

Quite often miss ordered items. Tonight when the place was not busy, missed our fries (2 medium 2 large) and a 10 piece nuggets. But staff attitude are generally good.

Visited again tonight. Ordered 7 combo meals. Missing two fries and three drinks. One of the fries in the paper bag was placed upside down, making all frieds in that container fell into the bag. Went to counter to advise the missing items and the staff apologised and said she would bring the items to our table. Another staff broght four of the missing items to us and still missing one. Had to tell them again. As always they are very polite. But I can't understande, with the ordered items clearly printed on the receipt, how could they miss so many items? Especially where there were very few customers at the time.

we ordered in the drivethru and the girl taking our order laughed at what we got. they messed up our order and we had to wait for ages. the chips were cold and undercooked

Thank you Paityn for the amazing breakfast prepared today. I also got the right coffee order. More often that not McDonald meals were butchered when delivered. Paityn and her team definately deserved a compliment for doing a great job today. Well done!

Located conveniently on Burwood Highway in Ferntree Gully, this McDonald’s enjoys a prime position with excellent parking availability, making it easy to stop by whether you're driving through or staying in the area. The restaurant itself is generally well-maintained in the earlier part of the day. Mornings are typically the best time to visit, with clean tables and attentive staff who are proactive about keeping the dining area spotless and welcoming.
The toilets are also usually in decent condition, which is always a plus for a high-traffic fast-food outlet. However, as the day progresses—particularly after 2pm—there tends to be a noticeable decline in cleanliness and overall upkeep. This drop-off in standards is mirrored in the service experience, which can vary greatly depending on the shift and time of day. On some visits, you might receive prompt and friendly service; on others, the wait times can feel unnecessarily long, even during what appear to be quiet periods.
One disappointing aspect is the way delivery drivers are treated. They often appear to be regarded as less important than in-store customers, which creates a poor impression of the store's professionalism and fairness. This is especially concerning given the increasing reliance on delivery services.
It’s also worth noting that there appears to be more energy put into interviewing and recruiting staff than into ensuring consistent service standards throughout the day.
That said, the food quality remains generally consistent and matches expectations, which is commendable. With some better management of staffing and service consistency, this McDonald’s could easily be a top-tier location.
