The Shogun chicken burger was honestly very disappointing.
There was nothing crispy about it at all, despite the description. The flavour was overly salty and extremely sour - to the point where it was very hard to eat.
I asked a staff member whether this was how it was supposed to taste and was told that it was.
Unfortunately, the chicken was not crispy in any way, and the sauce-soaked, soggy texture made it even more disappointing.
On top of that, the mayonnaise tasted like a standard store-bought sauce squeezed straight from the bottle, which felt completely uncreative.
For a “new” burger menu item, I really hope this is redeveloped and improved.

Our group of 3 adults and 2 toddlers had the best experience here. The food was absolutely delicious, and the strawberry matcha was out of this world. I have tried matcha a handful of times over the years and never liked it, decided to give it another shot here and was blown away. I can finally say I'm a matcha fan. Looking forward to plenty more strawberry matchas here in the future!!

Wait staff were friendly albeit slightly slow. We weren’t sure if we were meant to order at the counter or it was table service. Foo presented well but the poached eggs were over cooked. I was hungry after a morning hike so didn’t bother asking for it to be cooked again. However I did tell another waiter and she responded with ‘oh ok’. Wouldn’t order it again and unsure if I’d go back.

What a beautiful little hidden gem of a cafe..
The aesthetic is so refreshing, the atmosphere is calming & the service was good - (apart from the waitress who threw the teaspoon with the coffee & threw the straw with the tiramisu latte) 🤦🏻♀️ 🤷🏻♀️
Lots of little gift ideas for you to browse through whilst waiting & purchase, the plants 🪴 make the cafe feel so warm & cosy.
My strawberry 🍓 Matcha was yummy as & I just had to try the Tiramisu latte, which was also delicious…. Coffee was good too!
The smoked salmon toastie with sourdough was very tasty & well cooked - highly recommend!
Great location just off Burwood Hwy, we saw it by accident, definitely give this cafe a go, you won’t be disappointed ☕️

Pasture Coffee doesn’t just do breakfast, it does the kind of breakfast that makes you rethink why you’ve wasted mornings anywhere else. The big breakfast is ok, but it is nothing compared to the amazing service.
The service. From the second you step inside to the moment you waddle out, the team somehow manages to be so genuinely friendly it feels like they’ve decided that making people happy is a competitive sport… and they’re undefeated.
Huge thanks to the Saturday morning crew for proving that service with a smile isn’t a myth. You made the food taste even better.
