Stumbled across this place as I was driving to another restaurant for lunch. Did a U-turn and decided to eat here instead and I was so glad I did!! The lovely lady that served us was wonderful and kind. The food was sensational! And I mean absolutely sensational! Full of flavour and freshness. We will definitely dine here again and bring lots of people/family too!

Ranong Town exceeded my expectations! The dishes were absolutely delicious and reminded me of the authentic flavors from Thailand. The spices, herbs, and freshness were just perfect – nothing was too sweet or too salty, just the way Thai food should be. The service was also excellent: attentive, warm, and quick. If you love real Thai cuisine, this is a must-visit restaurant. I’ll be returning for sure!

I had an amazing dinner at Ranong Town! As a Thai person, I can say the food here tastes truly authentic – just like home. Every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for real Thai food. I will definitely come back!

This is authentic Southern style thai food. I always go to this restaurant whenever I visit Belgrave. (Driving 50 mins from home!) Food is delicious. The owner said they made curry paste by themselves, which is so fresh. If you love spicy food. Do Recommend yellow curry with fish. If you love sambal (shrimp paste), please don’t miss nam prig, it is served with eggs, veggies and fish. My favourite dish is crispy pork stir fried with Chinese broccoli. The smell of wok made this dish unique and different from other shops . I also love the noodle soup, pink noodle soup. Their prawn cake is also delicious. My husband (vegetarian) loves ranong town fried rice and hokkien noddle. When going to Thailand, I stop eating yellow curry as I know I can get it from ranong town whenever I want to! Also, don’t miss out their prawn cracker, deep fried fish with salad. Moo hong is local food from Phuket and I feel eating in my hometown!! I wish they open their shop closed to city too. I brought my thai friends to try food here, she said this is tastes like my mum cooked in south of Thailand. Service is great though the front of house is not Thai. He has high hospitality service mind. If you not a spicy lover, best to ask staff if it is hot??? Also, menus could be changed too. Toilet sis super clean !!!
