I texted the number letting them know of my concern. I’m assuming it’s no longer monitored. I hate giving less than 5 stars as I love food and I love sharing good food experiences. Would love if they offered later opening hours firstly. But hey, it’s their business to run on their terms. I was so happy to see they had Koupes and Sheftalia! A bit on the expensive side, but I guess it’s the convenience of having it cooked for you. I tried their lamb souvlaki and Sheftalia. Souvlaki was okay. Loved the char from the bbq. Took 3 bites to actually find the meat though. Most was good, some a bit sinewy and gristly. That’s the suppliers issue as I’m sure these guys don’t slaughter their own lambs 😂 Far too much lettuce though. The pita was, soft and fluffy. Sheftalia were a decent size. Two were moist, but the last one was definitely undercooked. I could feel it as I chewed it. Raw mince. I messaged the contact number to let them know, but no reply. You gotta be careful cooking Sheftalia, too long and they dry out. Too short and they’re raw inside. I’m a bit disappointed that the only dessert on offer were loukoumathes. As delicious as they are, every greek place sells them. Being a Cypriot take away I would’ve loved to have seen Shamishi or even palouze, or Mahalepi, Daktyla or bourekia. But again, their business to run as they like. I’d love to have a ‘Cypriot’ version available with onions and parsley for the souvlaki. Maybe I’m asking too much 😂 All in all, decent food. If I’m in the area again at the right time I’ll definitely grab another souvlaki as I’m a sucker for char cooked meat. Probs get the Sheftalia too, but will ask for a bit longer cook 👍

Definately a hidden gem, one of the best souvlaki stands in all of Victoria. Glad I've found them, ever since they sold Kellets Charcoal chicken it was hard to come across a traditional souvlaki place as good as this. 10 out of 10. I was going to order another last night, but they closed at 9. It was so very yummy. Thank you.

This was the most revolting gyro I have ever had in my life.. it was older than my grandmother. As well as being Burnt, Dry and tasteless. The lamb (if you can can it that) was blacker than the ace of spades. I nearly cracked a tooth on it. You could use it to smash a window. The tzatziki was water - I didn’t think you could even buy yogurt that thin.. was it watered down? Save your money.. go somewhere that cares about their customers. Pita Wrap It in Huntingdale.. Meat Me or Mythos in Oakleigh are good choices. Shameful - You’d actually be better off with a kebab.

What a hidden gem! The best souvlaki I’ve ever had, so incredibly flavoursome, perfectly cooked, generously filled, and topped with the perfect amount of sauce. The chips were also amazing, hot, crispy and perfectly seasoned. I’ve been back a few times now, and the food is consistently amazing. On top of the food, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. You can tell they really care about their customers and the quality of what they serve. Can’t wait to try more things from the menu. Highly recommend!

Recently visited Cypriot Street Grill and I have to say — this place is an absolute must-try. If you’re looking for real, authentic gyros, this is honestly some of the best I’ve had in a very long time. The food feels so authentic, it honestly feels like it’s coming straight from a village in Cyprus. Everything we ordered was amazing. The lamb and chicken were packed with flavour, the sheftalia was incredibly tasty, and even the hot chips were perfectly crunchy. The bread was also served warm and fresh, which made enjoying it with the meat even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re after proper Cypriot flavours and quality food. Definitely coming back again.
