Lokum Turkish Grill is easily one of the best Turkish restaurants in Melbourne. Every dish we ordered was fresh, generous, and packed with real authentic flavour. The mixed grill was outstanding, with beautifully charred lamb, tender chicken, and perfectly seasoned kebab pieces served over fragrant rice. The meat was juicy and full of smoky flavour, and the portion size was beyond impressive.
The adana pide was another highlight, especially the amount of cheese in it. The dough was soft on the inside with a perfect golden crust, and the fillings were rich and delicious. The lahmacun was also exceptional, thin, crisp, and loaded with fresh herbs and spiced mince. You can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite.
The service was warm and welcoming, and the food came out quickly despite how busy the place was. Everything tasted like it was made with real care.
If you love authentic Turkish food, Lokum Turkish Grill should be at the top of your list. Incredible flavours, great portions, and a genuine Turkish dining experience. Highly recommended.

Stopped by Lokum for dinner and had the lamb shish, pomegranate salad, and pide everything was absolutely delicious. The lamb was tender and perfectly cooked, the salad was fresh and full of flavour, and the pide hit the spot. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere had a nice, relaxed feel. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Amazing food! Top tier - was juicy, tender nice flavour. And awesome value for money. Although, the chips were cold when served. Sad but was minor compared the rest.
Food aside, the biggest problem with this place is that it’s suffering from its own success. This place is mega busy and the venue can’t handle it. We made a reservation and by the time we got a table it took over 20 minutes. I don’t think it’s the owners fault how were they to know this place would be so popular?
But a solution could be to improve the outside seating area. Rain renders the outdoor area useless as it’s all wet. This may not be possible but if you extend the roof cover above then install outdoor heaters. This would be make outdoor dining viable and take the pressure off the indoor tables.
It’s a massive problem, there were 2 people outside waiting that saw the state of the restaurant that they decided to leave. This needs a fix I too almost considered leaving and as this was my first time coming.
Nevertheless, the food was delicious will be back someday.

It was a busy Friday night at the place. I called and ordered a take away and was told to come in 25 minutes. When I reached I waited for almost 30 minutes for my food. That was not pleasant. It was busy but I guess they could do better rather than make a patron wait.
On to the food. We got the mixed grill. The lamb,chicken skewers and cutlet were tender and well seasoned. Loved it. Adana skewer was a bit dry and tough to my liking. The bread was amazing. Overall 7/10.

Ordered Takeaway at 5.42, was told 30 mins, food was ready 6.25. understandable on a friday night very busy.
Lachmacun was really good, salad and dips standard.
Chips lacked seasoning.
Ordered mix grill meal. bit disappointed as some meats were not cooked all the way through.
Chicken was a little pink.
Adnan was soft and uncooked in the middle,
Beef skewer also a little undercooked in the middle.
Shish was fine, in future i would only order pides or food with shish during busy dinner times. no one wants raw meat for dinner, it just went in the bin 😔
Bit disappointed because of the hype of this place, might try again not during peak dinner trade
