We dined at Saige for lunch. First off, staff were super. Excellent service, friendly, helpful. Lovely location, seated overlooking the lake, it is a very well planned and beautiful venue. Our meals, chicken burger with egg (extra $3 for an egg) were very average. Tiny piece of chicken, enormous bun, soggy lettuce. The Taco Bowl, while well-presented, was very bland and flavourless. When you are dropping $32 for a chicken burger, you should probably get better value than this. It is a shame because it is a great venue, with awesome staff.

Headed to dinner in the sage Bistro with my husband on a Friday night- and from the first interaction to the last, we were really impressed by the service, the staff and the food. Natasha took us to our seats, and suggested we try the “date night” special- shared entree platter and shared main of choice, a bottle of wine and dessert. Jesse was the area host who took our order and was so attentive when we needed plates, extra’s and drinks throughout the night. We decided on the pork belly with fried rice and bok choy for the main, and it was HUGE for two people! Shared entree was also very generous, so by the time dessert came, we were full. The quality of food was so good- could not fault it. Well priced for what we paid, and very well prepared, plated and tasty. One of our wait staff suggested we try the lamb shoulder next time, and we will be back for that!

We recently held our family reunion at WestWaters, catering for around 175 people, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, the staff were attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating — nothing was ever too hard for them. The event managers, Anthony and Kathy, were exceptional — so well-organised, respectful, and detail-oriented. They really listened to what we wanted and made sure everything ran smoothly. We also want to acknowledge Tash and Joshua, along with the rest of the waiting and hotel staff, for their outstanding support and professionalism throughout the entire weekend. The function space was beautiful with a lovely view, the restaurant food was amazing, and the hotel rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for our interstate guests. Everyone who travelled from afar thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help bring our family together. We will definitely be back to hold another function here in the future. Highly recommend WestWaters for any event — big or small!

I had an Uncle and cousin fly in from Perth and as we're regular customers at WestWaters for dinners (i.e. we live 5 mins away), we decided to take them out for a meal, based on our past positive experiences. No surprise that the food we got served was just as fresh/delicious as we've come to expect from the hardworking Chefs. The Waiter that looked after us was also very friendly and courteous. When I went to pay our bill, I was highly amazed at the Manager on Duty's (Emma's) fantastic customer service. She actually made me feel like a VIP, despite her not knowing I was a frequent customer at this place. Emma deserves a solo shout out as it's very rare for such high levels of customer service to be given/provided these days. Thank you Emma. You've reinforced my already strong conviction on how amazingly well run WestWaters is. You deserve a huge pay rise. Leaders (as managers only delegate etc) like you are very rare and I'm sure your staff feel valued when they're interacting with you.

My family of 4 had dinner at Saige bistro Sunday night and we had the best experience. We ordered the 400g rib eye steak (medium/well done) and salmon, which were delicious and cooked to perfection! My daughters aged (5 and 3) ate their kid’s meals and loved the ice cream, they were able to pick from 3 different flavours. The kids were given a colouring book and crayons, which kept them busy, so we could eat our food in peace! Parents with young children know how hard it can be. The playground is great and the views of the water are incredible. The waitresses responsible for service were really attentive when I made requests. Saige has a really nice and sophisticated vibe for a bistro. I look forward to another dinner at Saige!
